When you become an actor, people become very interested in you. How do you deal with that?
I don't know. I haven't figured it out yet.
It's some kind of adjustment that you make, but I find that living in the city, I live in New York.
You live in New York as well?
Yeah, I was born and raised here.
I think it sort of envelops you in some way.
Does it help to live in New York here and not be sort of part of the Hollywood life?
I think it keeps you more grounded in some way.
You're kind of forced to come into contact with all kinds of walks of life all the time.
And there's something that happens, I think, when you live an isolated existence
where you sort of become kind of self-important and a little bit out of touch.
There's nothing like riding the subway every day to kind of bring you back to reality.
I don't ride the subway.
You don't really?
I used up my subway tokens earlier.
You know what? They stopped using tokens a while ago.
Yeah, that's what I hear.
That's how out of touch I am.
I got an easy pass in the back. I'll give you one.
Oh, really? Is that what they're called?
Yeah.
I love how I'm like, I'm really in touch with people.
