Get to know - Fredric Aasbø (2022)

I'm Freddy Ospo, driver of the Rockstar Energy Toyota GR Supra. Craziest thing about being an FD driver, I think, is trying to do as good as you can in just 20 seconds of a run. It's really hard to go out there and you've been sitting for hour after hour and then just deliver a near-perfect run. It's the hardest thing that I do. My game plan for staying competitive this season is just trying to improve myself. I know we have the car to beat. I know we have the greatest team. I honestly believe that. I mean, looking at the boys, looking at all the things they've been through, I think we have the greatest package. So the only thing left is for me to become a better drifter. I spent a lot of time practicing in the off-season. I spent a lot of time trying to critique myself and hopefully I can still grow as a driver. I'm very privileged, right? Being an FD, doing what I love, being with this team, having all the backing. But at the end of the day, I'm just a drift fan, like anyone else here at the track. Even if we get knocked out early, I like to be here and continue watching the run, no matter how pissed off I may be of myself.
