Hello, and Happy New Year! We are coming at you today from beautiful Oaxaca, Mexico. When we heard that Oaxaca was known as the gastronomic capital of Mexico we booked a one way ticket and arrived hungry. This city truly has it all, and the food options are endless. Join us on this food tour, while we explore different Menu Del Dias all around the city.
Menu Del Dia is a complete, economic menu that some restaurants offer during the middle of the day. In Mexico your main meal, comida, is eaten during the hours of 2-4pm, so this is the time most of The Menu Del Dias are offered. The Menu Del Dia has many different names, such as comida corrida, and menu ejecutivo. From what we experienced the menu normally offers a drink, appetizer, a main dish and sometimes a dessert ranging anywhere from $2 USD to $10 USD depending on the restaurant and their offerings.
