HIGHLIGHTS | Real Madrid vs. FC Barcelona (Liga F 2024-25 Matchday 10)

It will be Barcelona to get the game off and running. Whistle is blown, the lights are shining brightly because these are the shining lights of Liga F. I've scored some early goals in the history of this fixture as Graham puts the corner in and it's stabbed in at the back post. Alexia and Patrick will try and claim it. It's a horror show start for Real Madrid. The smile on Pera Romeo's face. It is Patry's goal. Good strong play from Ferrer and she's played Redondo in. This is Alba Redondo. She's got to go alone. Redondo. That could have bounced anywhere. It's a big opportunity for Real Madrid. Redondo sent a little bit wider than she'd like. Game off to Radies and out for a corner. Rooks through the middle and it's a big chance for goal number two. Aitana squares it. Oh, Payol misses. Well if Aitana had her time again I think she'd have just put her laces through it. Eva Payol has scored 11 goals this season. Very, very young to enter the world of management particularly the club as prestigious as Barcelona. He's had that grounding working under Giraldez. It's a chance now for number two. That's heroic defending. It might count for nothing though. Alexia's cross. Payol's header and the pressure is being piled on. Mendes keeping Barcelona on side. Aitana laid it back off to Alexia. It's a delicious ball in and Payol couldn't make the most of it. Skill. Cross wasn't great. An orthodox clearance from Graham. Yet Barcelona might be able to run up towards Payol. Can she get away from Mendes? Yes she can. Lacroze across too. Support needed and Lacroze with a challenge. However it's cleared only as far as Payol and Barcelona could be in. Aitana. Was she put off? Aitana still and still. Oh the Carbona stuck to a light blue but Patry is going to shoot and make it 2-0. A classico brace for Patry Guijarro. Real Madrid falling apart. Lacroze thought she'd done well but then the ball was slid through to Aitana. Not the best clearance but how about that for a strike? Hard and low into the corner. Alexia look a bit dubious. The whistle may have gone for handball then. Here's Onyabatya. Aitana such a clever player and she sends it over the top for Graham. In behind. Surely she can tee it up for three. She has. Pena the recipient. Real Madrid torn apart once again. Well that's where they thought the handball was from Maria Leon. Graham got away from Olga way too easily. Saw that Claudia Pena was making the run. Took a deflection. Came off Maria Mendes and that's maybe what took it away from Misa Rodriguez. Batya. Graham. It's Carbona come across. Backpedalling Graham. Gonna go alone. That was close to number four. What an impact she's had in the first 45. Caroline Graham. Alexia to Graham. Mayo's ahead of her. So is Aitana. She gets there ahead of Olga. Alexia Pateas. Caroline Graham. Should have made it four. It's exhibition stuff from Barcelona. Delicate through of all. Caroline Graham with her goal scoring record. Olga Carmona runs into Batya. Leon seems to pass to Graham. Options arriving. Caroline Graham might go alone. Drifted past Olga Carmona. Once again Lacroix with the excellent block. That was a teasing goal in a different sense. The best clearance. Caroline Weir now. Sense that that's a rare opportunity to get a shot away. That's a collect once again. Patrick. Batya. Over the top. Looking for Aitana. Line pulse to Olga Carmona. If anyone's likely to score in this fixture for Real Madrid it's her. Lacroix. Make a case for her being Real Madrid's best player. This is good football. Belair. Cruncher in the challenge. Belair gets back up and puts it in for Broon. That's much better. Good football once again. David Avaro in behind. Needs to make a mind up. Broon. No question that they're looking more threatening. Lacroix under pressure and suddenly it's three on two. Here's Kika. Alexia. Oh that's beautiful. That is so good from Alexia Puteas. No matter the occasion she shines in this fixture. A chastening evening for Real Madrid. It all came from a really good attack but then they have their pockets picked. Travelling contingent. Making all the noise. 15 Clasicos. 15 wins for Barcelona.
