Hello what's up guys and welcome to our
brand new series on node and express j
Yes guys I am super excited
about this series and I hope you are also equally
excited because recently
we have completed the series of version 19.
Now we are going to start
Node and Express and first of all
today we are going to see Introduction to
Node. Before starting the video,
I would like to tell you that we are going to
understand each topic in depth.
Guys believe me you are going to have a lot of fun
so guys first of all let's start
with definition so you can see
what is nuts here as everyone
asks you questions you also have a question in your mind
and at the end I
will ask you a million dollar question, then
guys, it will be fun to watch, all doubts will be cleared
only today in this one video, What
is Not Jas, Why we need Nod Jas, What are the
advantages of Nod Jas and where Nod Jas
is used, okay? So first of all what is Nut JS
it is an open source server side
JavaScript run time allows you to run
JavaScript on your machine and a server,
look anywhere you pick the definitions of any website
everyone will say the same Note JS
what is it an open source Source Cross
Platform JavaScript Run Time Innovation Which
Allow Your JavaScript Code to
Run Outside Your Browser Basically on Server
So there are many words that
may come in your mind oh my God what is
this open source meaning what is this
server Side What is this
JavaScript Runtime Brother? What is this JavaScript Runtime Time
Evolution? I
also used a word cross platform, then
we can run the JavaScript code
outside the browser, but how can it be written and
how can this be done? And one more. The thing is that
note how it is made, it is made
on v8 JavaScript engine, it is
given for speed, there is one more thing, we
will see it later, this is the particular line, but
you understand, Robot Ecosystem with NPM, okay, on
top of NPM. Also a very good
history, many people think that its full
form is Note Package Manager but it is
not, it is just a package manager,
okay then we will come there but the
most important thing for us guys is that
this particular box.
Now we will understand in depth what I am keeping inside,
first of all what is this open
source, so here you can see that open
source means that the source code of nut is
publicly available. Okay, I basically if
here I will click on this particular and
it is basically opening here, so
what you see is this is the official node
in the repo gt hub and here you guys look at this
node, so here guys you will get all the source code of
this particular. What
code has been written to make the Nat JAS application,
basically how it has been written,
you will get everything here, you
can see Guy's Pull Requist here, you
can see the issues here which these people are currently facing. There is a
discussion, there are many things
here you can do, so this is guys, what is
your repo of nut jae official repo, okay
so it is open source, it means that the
source code of nut jae is publicly available,
now what is the benefit of it? Look, any one can
view that source code, any one
can view that source code, so this done, any one can
modify this source code, anyone can
modify it, but to reflect the modify actually in
your repo,
we need to Contribute We have to
share the request that yes this particular
is an issue or a bug and I have
written the code in this way, if you add it, it will be
better, so open
source means anyone, just note, not yours.
Even React is also open source. There are many such
things which are already open source, meaning whose
source code is publicly available, which you
can see, modify and
become a contributor. How awesome would it be,
guys, that you can see it here.
We have a contributor, I show it
in the overview, if we go to So these are the
people who together created this, then
if your icon comes here, how would
you enjoy it, right? You can also say brother, note that
I also have a hand in it. Right so this is your
open source, okay now one thing comes, what
is this cross platform is very
simple, cross platform means that
if you write any code in which
you can run it in multiple operating systems without any
problem. Any major updates or
changes are fine like we have a Windows then
we have a Mac and then we have a
Mac also read it, what will I
write, I will write the code note, just
copy paste, if you go, I mean Mac, you will
also run. It will be done. There is an
investment where your JavaScript
code is, it runs. What is this? This is an
investment for
example. Tell me one thing that
whenever you talk about JavaScript,
what is the first thing that comes to your mind? There will be
only one thing and that is it is
a building block of web development
mostly in your front end like we have
ATML we have a CSS third no matter
what is your JavaScript which you
work in front end let's click any button
you So when you go to the website and
click on the blood button, something
pops up or you get redirected to another page.
How it happens with the help of
JavaScript. So there is no doubt
that we run JavaScript in the browser.
Okay, but what
if you run the same JavaScript outside the
browser, basically in the server, then
how will it be? Right, we need something, we
need someone's help to do that work,
so to do that work, we need a
person. The environment seems to be there and the same environment
gives you a note, what does it
provide? What does Nut provide? What is Node?
Node provides you an environment
with the help of which you can now run the
JavaScript code not just in the browser but
outside the browser basically. You
can also run it in the server, this is it,
JavaScript Run Time Environment means
an environment that has to be provided to run the JavaScript code outside the browser,
it is written by
Simple Write, now it is clear to you
then JavaScript. Run Time Evolution
JavaScript needs an evolution to run.
Note that it provides it.
Alright now it provides tools to interact
with the system like if you
have to read, delete or
update files on the server, then not with the help of JavaScript.
You can do that with the help of nut js,
that is and by the way by default
it provides us built in modus file system with the help of which we
can read and write files very easily then
if you have a If we want to create a network, then
we have HTTP request for that also,
we can use that, because
now obviously if anyone logins or registers with Lets,
then his data is
stored in the database and a front end
data is sent to the database. So in the middle
we have back end, so what does that mean, who does
that work, what does that node do and
this is what helps you, basically it is simple to connect your front end
to the database,
so here you will get everything. You will get it, I
hope you have understood this one line
and on the basis of this, in the end, I am
going to ask you a million dollar question.
Alright now,
this is node.js special as a run time,
right, so first of all, see the v8 engine very clearly.
Can you use node.js? What is
google2 machine code? Making it lightning
fast and what it uses. What
was told a little while ago? Like
FS, we have an FS for what, so that we
can play with the file system. We have an
HTTP module through which we can access servers. You
can play with and you can build powerful
applications without extra libraries,
basically this is where you get a lot of things,
right so now let's go a little further
and understand
why do we need this, so
first of all Look guys, it is very simple
whenever we create any application,
basically full stack application,
what was earlier
html-pdf, min stack, min stack, then
JavaScript became such a common language
that now you can use it in front end also.
Yes, you can use it in the back end also.
With the help of Mango DV, we can
also use it in a bank i mean database, so
how easy it has become,
now you can use the same language in the front end as well as in the back end.
And then you are able to use it in database also
so single language for full stack
development simple right then high performance
thanks to the v8 engine obviously less note
is just super fast see when we do then you will
know now the guy third one you see
Can you do event driven and non blocking
IO? Okay, if I show you this then
you can see it in this way, now look
unlike traditional server that blocks a
thread for each request, meaning if now there will be single
thread then guys till the time you make a request
That request is not completed, the
second request will not work, the third and
fourth request is getting blocked, until the
first one is not completed, the rest of the
subsequent ones are not going to be done, but in node dot this is
not the case, like simple, neatly
multiple, this work. Can do simultaneously and
thanks to asynchronous models well that's
no I mean no just using it making
it highly efficient for handling multiple
tasks right and then you can see
scalable for modern applications with the
help of node. js you can create a chat
application streaming platforms and
then online games Alright now it must be coming in your mind that which are the
big tech
companies which are using
or using node.js then it is very clear
here. You can watch We Have A Net
from netflix.in If you use it like this then guys
why are you behind? Now stay with me
through out this series believe,
you will enjoy version 9. We have already
completed it. Now it's node and
then on express and [ __ ] dvi so
I'm already uploading the video okay guys
so now
it's a million dollar question and that's
not it is it a language and a framework
what is this react It is a library, isn't it?
Angular framework is naked. Many of us
also call it a library made through React. So, what is this?
Node.js, is it a language or what is
it, tell me what is it,
and this is. It's guys, neither is it a
language nor is it a framework, it is
a JavaScript run time environment
with the help of which now you can write JavaScript code not
only
in the browser but also in the server outside the browser. This is it, this is what
you have to say. node.js
is your JavaScript run time environment
with the help of which you can now write JavaScript code
not only in the browser but also outside the browser.
That's all for this video. I hope you would have
liked the video very much where
today we saw the introduction. To node.js and
node.js, everyone will come to this. Open source
cross platform JavaScript run time
evolution that allows your JavaScript
code to run outside browser based mostly
on server but we have no idea what
was happening brother, what is this, what does it mean but I
tried to explain each and every thing to you and
lastly I
cleared the doubt that you had, so I hope you got as much as you
were waiting for. After react version 19 it's
worth it. Glad to see you, learned a lot today.
I would like to meet you guys.
Please, if you like this video then please like it
as much as you like. I will be very
happy. Share it widely with your friends.
If you like then you can
also record the video with your mobile on
instagram2 guys. I will post it in my story,
isn't it a very good thing and
also you comment if you are having any
doubt but I don't think any doubt will
come but you watch the video one more time,
everything is going to be clear and guys we will move ahead. You are going to

hit it so that Do
n't miss such awesome videos daily and
mostly I upload videos every day at 4:00 pm,
so you must
open the channel at 4:00 pm, okay and yes,
