"Are #EmmaStone and #EmmaThompson dog people IRL? Watch the #Cruella stars reveal what their favorite emojis are to use, whether they're dog people in real life, what breed of dog they most resemble, and how much more fun it is to play a villain than a hero. They also share the scenes they admire the most from each other's careers."
I'm Emma Stone and I'm here to answer your fan questions.
I'm Emma Thompson and I'm here to ask, answer, not ask, obviously, that would be stupid.
I'll do it again.
Hello, I'm Emma Thompson and I'm here to answer all your fan questions.
What was your name?
Cruella.
That's quite fabulous.
I'm a cat person.
Look, Michael, Maggie, Maggie.
My cat is called Boot.
I am a dog person all the way to an almost psychotic degree.
Because we only ever had dogs growing up and we always had at least two at a time and I am,
they make me melt.
I love dogs more than anything on this earth.
Please rescue these dogs and any dog.
Well, you know, it depends.
I really had a lot of fun playing Cruella though, so I would say
it's pretty fun to play the villain, yeah.
I often get asked to play very good people.
I have no idea why.
I'm far more villainous than anyone has ever guessed.
You're sweating and I can smell you.
What dog would I be in real life?
Probably like a French Bulldog.
I don't know, don't I just look like a French Bulldog?
Or like a Brussels Griffin or something, you know,
where their faces are a little like backwards, like the dog in As Good As It Gets.
Don't you do anything.
Oh, a St Bernard, but principally because of the large barrel of alcohol hung around its neck.
The poop.
Why is the poop my favourite?
Why would it not be?
Just doing my duty.
What?
What did I say?
I don't think it adequately represents a poop.
I feel it's been overworked, quite frankly.
I'm a great fan, obviously, of the martini glass,
but recently I have been very much overusing the unicorn with its head blowing off.
It couldn't be more tasteless.
Oh, no wonder I love it.
Oh, I mean, it's very difficult to choose, actually.
I'll go for a scene and there's a scene in La La Land where she's in an agency
and just does this incredible journey through sort of acting, pretend acting and then acting,
and then back to pretend acting because she desperately wants the job
that I thought was consummate.
I mean, a real kind of masterclass.
So, yeah, I'm going for a scene rather than a role because I love everything that she does.
Well, I feel the exact same way except for my favourite,
this is going to sound so stupid,
is The Baroness because I got to watch it in person and be with her every day.
That would be my favourite.
Also, she's just such a monster in this.
I just love watching you play a full-blown narcissist and it was a blast to watch.
She stole my dogs.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
Thanks, Max.
