Or if jobs are on LinkedIn, then they apply for jobs with the help of LinkedIn Easy Apply and LinkedIn Direct Apply. But this is the worst way to apply for a job. And with all this, your resume should definitely be ATS friendly. Today almost every company is using ATS software for resume selection. And so it's very important to pass your resume to that software. To avoid this, you can check your CV's ATS score. There are a lot of free websites available, That scan your resume, You can also find out your CV's ATS score from these free websites, And your CV ATS score should be above 60. And if it's not, then the same websites also tell you the issues inside your resume, like formatting issues, spelling mistakes, etc. And you have to fix these issues and upload your resume again, And this process you have to do till your CV ATS score athleisure goes above 60. Now coming to the second step of this process, and that is using LinkedIn in the right way for job hunting. Now LinkedIn job openings are coming out, these we all know, The right way to apply for those big job openings is to understand it. First you have to go to the job portal on LinkedIn, You have to go there and filter out jobs according to your skills. For example, if you are looking for a job as a software engineer, then you have to write software engineer inside the skill section, And you have to filter out your jobs. Then after this, the job openings that have recently come out, For which you have to filter the date posted, and last week select to, So you can see the recent job openings. Because there are a lot of job openings on LinkedIn, Which are very old, She's not actually active, They've never been removed from LinkedIn, So it is best to filter out those job openings. Then after this you will see a job alerts toggle increase, You have to turn this on, So you can keep getting alerts of recent job openings. After all this work, Now we move on to your application process. Let's say you have all these job openings, A job opening is good, Inside of that is LinkedIn Easy Apply, Or there will be an option to apply directly, You should never apply from there, Because by applying to that, There's usually a chance you won't get a reply. As soon as you scroll down, You'll see who posted the job opening. You have to go to that person's LinkedIn profile, And they have to ask for a connection, And with a note to send, That's the job application you want to apply for. If they accept your connection request, Then you can ask them directly for referral to that job opening. To request referral you have to write a message, In which message your educational background, or information about your past experience, There will be information about your current skills, And then you finally have to link to that job opening, The one you want to apply for.
