The Forgotten Empire of Ancient India ; The Vakatakas
The Vakataka who emerged in the fourth century AD were one of the great empires of Ancient India. Just like the Guptas, they also left a great impact on the history of the Indian Subcontinent. In this video, I will talk about the early History of the Vakatakas, and how they came into conflict with the Guptas and there split into two branches–the Nandhivardhana Branch and the Vatsagulma branch.
