Cristiano Ronaldo Tonight with Al Nassr vs Al Riyadh | 1080i HD

Five divisions with them. Well, there's a familiar face. Yeah, who's that again? No, it's only one of the best players that's ever played the game. Cristiano Ronaldo, still delivering at his age. Shows the hunger, determination, always wants to score goals. So he's fantastic. Leads by example. Any youngster wanting to be a professional footballer, look at him, how he does it. Yeah, and there's always so many statistics that we have at our fingertips when his face appears on the screen. He's scored in six of his eight league appearances so far this season. And it is a goal in each of those matches, so six in eight. And his goal in the AFC Champions League Elite Group Stage match during the week was number 908 in his career. Say that again, Si, 908. That is frightening. I've not known anyone else that could do and get to his numbers. Fantastic achievement. Still going as well. And still very much the leader of this. Today's officials, led by the referee for this one, Nikola Davanovic from Montenegro. Green, green. They've lost only three of the opening nine games. And I think it's definitely worth noting that two excellent 5-1 victory for Al Nasser in that Champions League game. Here's Garib sending it across. Oh, and Ronaldo was almost in. Big block there by Bojan, the goalkeeper and the flag has gone up as well. It's a good save. So Mohamed Alakel and Salah on the back of his shirt on as an early substitute. We're only 15 minutes in. And the Prince Faisal been fired stadius after it. Octavio, twinkle-toed Portuguese player, sending it away to the far side. And there goes Ronaldo. Does he fancy this himself? You bet he does. And it's beaten away by Milan Bojan. Garib will try again. It's another tasty looking delivery. And once more the flag is raised. They've had a lot of offside on Al Nasser. His flag up. He is offside. Ronaldo's offside. I know it doesn't get to him, but he challenges the centre-half. So it's the right decision. We'll bring you the goals from both of those matches at half-time. 25 minutes in, in Riyadh. Al Nasser on the road. Ali Lajami. Ronaldo makes the run. Really good defending by Hossein Al-Nuwaiki. But Brozovic sends it over. Bojan parries it out to Al-Ghanam, who would have... It would be disappointing if he hasn't hit the target. You're even thinking, is Ronaldo inches away from it? Cristiano Ronaldo tapping it in at the back post. But that definitely wasn't... Cleared away by Marzouk Tambakti. Mane. You can tell when he's got the ball from the reactions of the crowd. Especially when he's going past people. He's not going to be bent over from that position. Here comes Ronaldo. And it comes from Abdelrahman Garib. And it could so easily have fallen. For Al Nasser there. But it's safely into the gloves of Milan. Bojan. It's a good ball in for Garib. But obviously there's a push. I don't really think there is a push from... It's the slightest of contact there. But it's not... Al-Hilal leading the table. And Tolisco with the header. Bringing the save. And... The double save. And then the frame of the... ...dive in even. But this is the chance. Tolisco, that's a great save. And that's even a better one. And then Simakan's unlucky there. And that's, I think... Al Nasser's best chances in these first half. But that saved the first one there. From Tolisco's outstanding. Naam is right up on the edge of the box. And the ball's being played towards him. Keeping Al-Khaibari busy. Baesh gets the better of Ronaldo. Just failed to touch there from Otavio. Wasn't a big one. And then they get into a blazing row for a few seconds. The pair of them. Outside. Ronaldo on the far side. And it's Tolisco who has it. Faced by Barbet. And it is neither cross nor shot. And Ronaldo looks particularly disappointed with the outcome there. His left foot. He never wanted to go onto his right foot. So he's saying to Grieve, just roll me in. Because I can go either way. But Tolisco really wants to go on his right foot. So wrong clicking. The net's going. The game's important. They're on the front foot. Other than the two games against the top two. The only other defeat for Al Riyad so far this season. They were beaten 2-0 at Al Faya at the end of September. Al Nasser being back into it. Here's Garib. Lovely play. Ronaldo. Back with Garib. With him on the far side. Abdulrahman Garib. Otavio. Trying to pick out Ronaldo. Palmed away by Boyan Mane. Big block by Tambati. Yeah, I thought Al Khaibri was going to pull it into his own net. It might have been offside there with Ronaldo. If they'd gone to the VAR. But here it was a good block. And then you thought Taliska maybe gets in and Al Khaibri... Otavio. Pinpoint to Ronaldo. Tambati's there. It just wasn't shot after. They scored in the opening match of the season. They were able to garnish a point from that 3-3 with Al Weda. He's on their own ground. 11 months ago. And they could be potentially two up here. Let's see if they can take advantage of this one. As Sadio Mane sends it across. Still only halfing it simple. Hoping it's effective. But Brozovic finds Ronaldo. Here is Abdullah Al Khaibri. Quite up to the... El Hadjab. That's a lovely pass out to Ronaldo. Forward slipped out of his hand. That's why as a goalkeeper you always have to be concentrated. Very handy addition indeed. But on this occasion. Concede possession to Sadio Mane. Who picks out Ronaldo. And the Senegalese striker has it once more. And it's in to Taliska. It's brilliant play from Sadio. He might have just been offside. But Taliska didn't know that. Mane puts a great ball in. And that's why he doesn't control it. He's leaning back and it's over the bar. But it's a great opportunity. Ronaldo trying to send it forward here. Here's Angelo. Plenty of yellow shirts up. And Ronaldo's one of them. Good save. Taliska. Flag up. Well there are a few things to pick out there. I mean, Bojan there just illustrated the point we've been making. That he's had an excellent gaming goal. And Taliska as well.
