Harley Davidson Suspension upgrades are a must. We all know how rough the stock suspension is on Harley Davidson. With Sturgis Motorcycle Rally just one week away, this will be our final upgrade before the trip. I've been running Pro-Action Suspension on my Harley for one year. Up until now, I only had the rear shock system. With their new front fork kit, Pro-Action Suspension has the complete package. Full disclosure, this channel is sponsored by Pro-Action but I was running their system prior to being sponsored. If you're in need of a new suspension system for your Harley Davidson, I strongly encourage you to check out their set up. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe.

Here's a question for you.
What's better than the rear shock system from ProAction?
Adding the front fork kit.
Let's go.
If you are new to this channel,
we are a traveling motovlogging channel,
and we also dabble in some cinematic features for you
during our videos.
So if you're into any of that type of stuff,
I'd appreciate it if you hit subscribe down below.
Leave me a comment, let me know that you subscribe,
and I would greatly appreciate it.
So we are a week away from leaving for Sturgis 2021.
I cannot wait.
And if you've been following along,
you know that I've been running
the ProAction rear shock system
since last year during Sturgis.
And in case you all didn't know,
they actually have the total package.
And by that, I'm talking about, you know,
you get a nice suspension upgrade for the rear,
you get your rear shock system,
and the front suspension kind of feels a little washy.
Those who know, know what I'm talking about.
But ProAction makes a front fork kit,
and we are gonna get that installed today.
And I cannot wait.
Now, of course, ProAction is the sponsor of this channel,
but I will tell you, I have been running ProAction
even before they were a sponsor on this channel.
And I think they are a great product.
Not only that, the company in itself is awesome,
and they are out of Pennsylvania.
So if you are looking for a new suspension system
for your Harley-Davidson,
you need to reach out to ProAction, do some research,
let them know Full Throttle Hog sent you over there,
and I'm gonna tell you right now,
you will not be disappointed.
The rear shock system changed my world on this bike.
And I know that there's a lot of great products out there,
but I just truly believe in this product.
I believe in the design.
I believe in everything that they did
to make this the best shock on the planet.
And now I'm super excited to complete the whole package
all the way around and get that front fork system done.
So this will be one last upgrade before Sturgis 2021.
I cannot wait.
Let's get into it.
So full disclosure here,
ProAction did send me this front fork kit,
but I'm super excited to get this on the bike
and just give you my thoughts on this,
the Street Series system all the way around.
So we're gonna get checked in here.
We're at San Diego Harley-Davidson,
and we're gonna get this thing installed
along with a little 15K service
right before Sturgis 2021.
So we all know those kinds of people
that are just extremely good at their job
and just attention to detail.
And Clint over here at San Diego Harley-Davidson
fits that mold to a T.
He got into such good detail while doing this install.
Clint, thank you very much for taking care of my baby.
And I'm sure you do this for every customer
that comes in here, but you're truly amazing.
So I just wanna thank you for that.
We're gonna go pay for this install
and then we're gonna get on the road and test it out.
So I'll give you my first impressions.
Let's go.
All right.
This is going to be the first impressions test.
This is the first time I'm riding this bike
after putting on that suspension.
So let's just mosey on down the road and see what we think.
Now, of course, the placebo effect
is gonna probably be a little bit biased.
Automatically, I don't think I'm gonna have any gripes
on the system, but I am definitely curious
to see how it's gonna feel.
It definitely feels more solid.
I can tell you that much just on that turn right there.
You know, if you guys have a road glide
or some type of touring model, you know that feeling.
And especially after you do the rear shock system
where that front end is just kind of
floating through that turn.
So I'm hoping this takes care of that.
But I mean, it definitely,
the front end definitely feels more solid.
And that's not really saying much right now,
but when we go through a couple of turns,
we'll see how we like it and what that does to confidence
when going into corners.
I truly believe that the suspension system
is probably one of the most neglected upgrades
that people do on their bikes, but the most important.
It definitely feels good before Sturgis, though,
to make sure that the bike was completely serviced,
checked inside and out,
so that we're not gonna have any problems
that would take away from our fun.
One of the things they did discover
is that one of my rotors has got a small warp to it,
but it's covered under warranty,
so they're gonna order that new rotor
and let me know when it gets here
and I'll come back for that install.
So that extended warranty already paying off here.
So one of the best ways
that I could possibly describe the feeling
is that the front end in itself
just feels a lot more stiff and stable.
You know, it's definitely a lot less sloppy
and more responsive to any input
that I have on the bike, which is huge.
And right now we're just cruising down the freeway,
so it's not the best judgment in the turns,
but I think I'm going to like it.
Oh, I mean, it's gotta be better than stock.
We all know that the Harley stock suspension is terrible,
but this feels just incredibly solid.
Now there's a couple different areas
on the freeway where I ride,
and I definitely can tell how sloppy the front end was.
So I think what I'll do is I'll circle over there
and make a couple of the sweeping turns
and see if I can tell the difference.
And then if I can this weekend,
I'll need to get up in the canyons
and fully test the system out.
So right up here, there's an interchange in the freeway
that I take literally almost every single day.
And it's just kind of a sweeping right turn.
And I always, because of the bumps in the road,
the suspension was just always drifting a little bit.
So we're going to go test it out right now
and see if we can tell the difference.
Yeah, you still feel some of those bumps.
Obviously those aren't going to go away,
but it wasn't free floating like the stock suspension is.
So I definitely can feel a difference.
Like I said, it's going to be getting up in those mountains
and those twisties and especially sturges.
But that is going to do it for today's video, folks.
And until next time, y'all ride safe, be safe,
and we'll catch you on the next one.
