Propalopes by Looch Revisited. Post Show Re-review.

hi welcome to real magic review today's a little bit of a different video I'm going to revisit something uh this is propal Lopes by [Music] luch before we do this please like And subscribe if you like it and want to subscribe to it do please have a look at online magic.co that's my membership site see what other people are saying about it it's very well respected for a good reason could I I've put an awful lot of work into it the last 10 years so have a look at that whatever type of magic you are into uh luch has been on there as a special guest and speaking of luch this is a a different kind of video I always do this thing of saying you know if I use these on stage I'll come back and tell you how it went and I did uh proper Lopes are very briefly lot's kind of permanent version of the three envelope envelope you say potato probably uh trick and which is for popular I Eed as four-dimensional telepathy uh by Bob Cassidy first time I saw that I wanted to do on stage I did do on stage to varying degrees of success usually because of my stupid brain getting things mixed up uh and it's usually done with like cash envelopes and they licking the envelopes involved and luch has made these permanent big ones to use again and again and again which for some of you may go yeah I can just keep making them and I did but I always came unstuck which I wish is I wish that's exactly what did happen but it was the opposite quite a lot of the time and I'd kind of set them up wrong when I was panicking and these just brilliant very briefly fre people come out one of them can write down the first person they kiss classing the first pet the other person the first pet they had the third person can draw a picture and you you know predict all the the three things that they've done it's so good it's so commercial it works beautifully it gives you a lovely Dynamic on stage which is what I wanted recently which is like okay we've done this here we've done that with someone there and I want some that changes the theatrical kind of look of the thing for this you know penultimate routine I was on a cruise ship and the venue I was working as soon as I looked at I went oh angles were an issue it was surrounded I was doing free shows pretty much back to back so I needed I bought these with me for oh maybe I'll use them and I was like I have to use them so I spent a few days properly rehearsing it making sure it isn't a mess it usually is I haven't done it loads but I've done it enough to kind of you know always works but it's a bit all over the place and these were a just a savior for me the fact that once I'd learned you know rehearsed and rehearsed that I knew they were going to be solid they're going to last a long long time they've got Vel on them so there's no picking envelopes it's just easy easy easy the method's even easier than the one I was doing it was almost so easy I was worried about it I was nervous about it cuz it's all hinging on this thing and I performed the routine twice in two shows and it was just a joy so easy to handle and I wanted to come back to this because I have I've done this with a few things but I haven't done the video that it's it's these things I think that that can really help it's not people come out with a brand new thing there's so much out there but anything that can make something more user friendly especially for someone like me who really struggles with prep because of ADHD things like that it's not that I don't prep I spend a long time get to the gig all that stuff but I can still you know forget something and forget I've done something and these are just kind of there they're ready to go and I just wanted to say this is what I have a bit of footage on here and and just wanted to kind of re- remind you of you know it's not always the new things that are coming out it's the things that have been out a world that don't become obsolete just because new stuff came out comes out and luch is bringing new stuff out all the time that doesn't cancel out cancel out the the previous things that he's done so you know you know this and I'm speaking rhetorically but you know don't just always look for the new I'm so glad I went back to these you have been sitting there for ages and they completely saved the day so if you're thinking about doing this sort of routine you are like me and you you want a bit less to think about and to focus on the presentation you're still going to have to rehearse you're still going to have to practice it doesn't do the trick for you but it's just a beautiful piece of Kit and make it enhancing for me a very beautiful routine so that's a little revisit luches propal Lopes did I call them bonsel Lopes but I didn't no they're very different but they're great too and luc's coming out some good stuff soon so keep what's the word what's the things say I can't remember have a look at the channel every now and then and I'll say talk about it take care see you later bye [Music]
