but coral reefs are not just beautiful
to look at they are vital to all life on
earth including yours and mine
[Music]
they also support over one billion
people globally by providing protection
from coastal storms offering food
security and supplying medicine
yet coral reefs are moving faster
towards extinction than any other
ecosystem on earth it is estimated that
more than half of the world's coral
reefs have already disappeared
let's seize this moment maybe the last
moment we have
to keep these vital ecosystems alive and
healthy for generations to come
