ULTIMATE Clean with Me 2019/Cleaning Motivation/Andrea Jean

welcome back everybody to Andrea Jean this is day 28 of our 30 day it's spring cleaning challenge only two more days left you all of course I'm still gonna be posting cleaning videos after this but not on a daily basis this definitely has been a fun ride and I appreciate you for subscribing and coming along here with me let's get a bunch of stuff done around our house today if you're cleaning alongside me awesome let's do it together and if not by the end of this video I hope that you are just rip round ready to go let's get into it you're gonna see my kids here bobbing in and out because this is real life they are a big part of my life and when mom's clean their kids are typically around so you're just gonna kind of seen them intermittently here if you stay until the middle or end of this video I will share a disgusting yet kind of funny story hashtag mom life that happened during filming this video now I did not include it in here for reasons that you will understand but I will definitely be sharing that with you so as you saw there like to start with folding laundry and now made the bed now we're moving on to our upstairs bathroom this is the bathroom that gets used all the time it's my kids bathroom it's the guest bathroom and I try to wipe it down every other day if again and if I have time one of my goals in the next couple days here is to really clean those light switches now I do wipe them down on a regular basis but what you can't see is there's a bit of grime and dirt in the the on/off section there I'm sure if you could probably relate or you understand what I'm saying so I really want to go around my house and get all the dirt out of there now it's just a minor detail but I notice it every time I turn on and off the light so that's one of my goals we'll see if we can we can actually get to it because it is gonna be pretty time-consuming going through all the switches especially if I'm gonna be recording it so we will see I'm saying it out loud so maybe that's gonna help keep me accountable just my daughter here she was looking for some art supplies and so I helped her out there now we're gonna go ahead and take some laundry out we're always doing laundry I try to do a load every day now I don't always get to folding it but at least like to touch it and do something with it that's my overall goal that's my five-year-old daughter there I had to get this clip she just insisted I'm pulling that laundry basket into her bedroom she just loves being a big help are you actually gonna see her help me fold some items here in these next couple clips and she's actually pretty good for her age so I'll take all the help that I can get that's one of the things that I have learned as a mother is to accept and take help whether it's in the form of a toddler or a grown adult and also to be extremely flexible because with kids you never know which way the wind is going to sway whenever I make my bed and then I fold laundry I always think to myself a good thing I made that bed that's quite all right though but the important thing is at night I like going into a bed with sheets that are all straight and not all tangled up so and I also like folding clothes here on my bed it just is the most comfortable and also I just love the sun shining in and it's just easy and convenient let me know in the comments below where do you fold your laundry I know everybody is a little bit different some people sit on the floor and fold it some people are in their living rooms some people watch TV I want to know let me know in the comments all right we're moving on to the kitchen here we're gonna finally put these dishes away from yesterday they are fully dried so I have no excuse any longer all right to y'all here's the dirty true and literally the dirty truth so a couple clips previous to this my kids are over there playing a craft and my son said mommy I went potty I went potty and I looked and then like nobody you didn't you didn't go potty I don't see anything and then all sudden I see some pee coming down and I'm like oh no and then yes you know what happened next number two so yes there was poo on my floor I had to take care of so the joys the joys of potty training so when he said that he went potty what he meant to say is mommy I have to go potty and so I learned the lesson here is that any time I hear the word potty irregardless of what comes before it I'm getting him to the bathroom I've never seen anything like that in my life so anyway that's what happened there was a number two hanging out in my kitchen but all is well now their coloring they're doing an activity and mom has cleaned everything up oh gosh the joys I have to laughs now that might be something that I tell him when he's a little bit older or maybe at his wedding that would be something uh no I'm just kidding I wouldn't do that all right let's finish up here in the kitchen can I tell you how much I love this storage space I get so much pride in keeping it organized and it's for a variety of reasons one I love to keep my kids stuff organized easy to find but two prior to purchasing this home we were in two different townhouses we had sold the house previously when we were going through the Dave Ramsey debt free journey and we decided to rent but in a townhouse the storage especially with three kids is non-existent so I'm elated this house has three different storage spots that when there is my favorite but storage can also get you in trouble too because you could tend to hold on to things that you may not really need in the future so I'm trying to be mindful of that as well we're down here in the basement just gonna go ahead and wipe down this bathroom I try to vacuum this landing spot here in the basement as often as I can especially because my cat rip and rares through that hole dere by the rocking chair and then her hair balls gets stuck there and embedded in the carpet so I'm just doing a clean vacuum there and now I'm just gonna go through these bottom steps that's all that I'm gonna have time for today because again there's a ton of hair stuck to them if you see those measuring sticks there if you're watching on the left hand side I had ordered them from Etsy and I love them but we got to get them hung up they keep getting put in that storage closet there I'm meeting the help of my husband to hang him up though so that's that's what the holdup is you all blame it on him just kidding only slightly and then those other two pictures there I also want to hang up hopefully in the next couple days or so this is a hallway here in the basement I also need to vacuum up because a cat box and cat room is back there where she likes to hang out and sleep and so again here likes to get embedded here in the carpet we had taken a brief intermission here to go to the library me and my daughter it's just something that we do once a week and this week's theme was making music so they made a little sort of maracas things with paper plates and pasta and read several stories it's just always so much fun going with her and I definitely enjoy those moments so I'm just gonna go ahead and take these dishes out here this is also a job that never ends but I'd like to put on some good tunes and have a nice cup of coffee while I do it thanks again for joining me here today I
