Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 West Ham // EXTENDED PREMIER LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS

It's part of the ongoing anti-discrimination message in football and wider society. North London meets East London. Here's that Spurs press engaging and forcing the error. Brennan Johnson tries to flick it first time to Solanke. Will get it back! In this form, you cannot blame him for having a go. Working with Udoge on this left-hand side. Bowen versus van der Ven. He's done brilliantly. Kudus! Udoge's unfavoured. Udoge. Maddison. Son. Brilliant deception. He thought it was in. And so did he. Rodriguez. It's a fine pass. Emerson. Trying to work it onto his left foot. Will reset to Kudus. Bowen. Will get it. And he slips. Wan-Bissaka. Caught by van der Ven. Now Bowen. Dancing away. And West Ham are in and have scored this time. Kudus applies the finish. Disarray at the back and West Ham pounce. Well it's great perseverance from Bowen and Kudus this time. With a second opportunity made by Bowen. Bowen makes no mistake. He doesn't actually hit it as cleanly as he did the first chance he had. But he sweeps it into the top of the roof of the net. After Bowen just kept going. Was determined to retain possession of the ball. You see as the cross comes in. He heads, slips. But. Wan-Bissaka's shot is kept alive. Now Bowen with two defenders does really well to get to the byline. Slight deflection off of Micky van der Ven. And Kudus unmarked at the back post. Just sweeps it into the top corner into the roof of the net. Doesn't hit it cleanly. Maddison. Pedro Porro. Gathers just before Brennan Johnson can tuck it home. West Ham so far have dealt with those deliveries into the penalty area. Solanke lovely touch. West Ham are stretched in for sure. Maddison. Four flying forward in Spurs white. Kulishevski. Kulishevski! Robby's been bright. He's been really alive right from the start of this game as Kulishevski. We break two challenges on the halfway line. That gives Maddison the opportunity to drive forward with the ball. You'll see them here. The first one is there. And the second one is there. And then that is a subtle touch from Dominic Solanke. Which gets us on our way. Maddison finds Kulishevski. Comes off of that right side onto his favoured left. And Areola gets a hand to it. Pushes it onto the inside of the upright. Back across the goal. Hits the opposite post. But over the line for the... Kulishevski. In vents. And finds Udoge. Great ball. Off. That would have been some goal. Pedro Porro. Got his feet right. He had a shot on... Early Saturday kick-off. The first game of the eighth Premier League match week of the season. It's on. A clever pass. Udoge. Holds off. Basuma! From Basuma arriving just inside the edge of the box. Great work from Udoge. Gets to the byline. Cuts it back to the advancing Basuma. Whose side-foot honed beautifully. Hadn't scored in his first two years as a Spurs player. And now the goals are flowing. For East Basuma and Spurs lead for the first time. Well it just seemed neither side had started with any real determination. But a ball played wonderfully to the byline. Udoge. Cuts back and rolls it brilliantly with his right foot. Opening moments. This second half that he doesn't lie. The other change will be Carlos Soler. The Spain international. The force. West Ham can make the change. Spurs are off again. Kulishevski. Son! It's an own goal Rob. He's come off the goalkeeper. He's hit Tadejbo and it's crept over the line. I think the initial shot from Son saved but it comes back and hits Tadejbo. And then agonisingly for West Ham. And jubilantly for Spurs it rolls over the line. Own goal Tadejbo. Son backing the team up. Emerson gets it on to Bowen. They've got to try and get him on the ball here. West Ham if they want to root back into the match. But Pat Matsasaar and Solanke deal with it brilliantly. And what vision from Saar. Spurs captain. And then Son up against Tadejbo. Step over. Goal! Spurs have shot once more. A special. By the captain. Well the captain's back and he's back in a big way. But Pat Saar's contribution was massive. Initially wins the ball off of Bowen. Then sweeps it forward to Son. Goes one on one. Quite brilliant footwork from the captain. And then he has to finish the match. This is the interception here. Saar steps in and has the awareness to drive the ball forward brilliantly. One and one. Hewman, Son. Not one but two step overs. And a drive underneath. Areola. 4-1. What a second half. Changes have been made. In the West Ham midfield. Saar's won it. No time to do that because Spurs are moving again. Solanke. Son! Bye for Spurs as it kisses the inside of the post. Central attacking position for West Ham. Somerville. Emerson. Oh a dangerous ball. Romero just lost sight of it. Oh what a. Spurs have got bodies in the penalty area once more. Johnson. Kulasevsky. Well felt. There was a deflection. Kulasevsky. Ball glued to his feet. Shut down by van de Ven. And Solanke will try and make the most of this. Brilliant from Solanke. Too strong for Tadejbo. Looked like it was being hauled back but Solanke's kept going. Johnson in support. Brennan Johnson. Good save and Solanke. So often now on the four. Kulasevsky. Gets away from Werner. Mohamed Kulasevsky. And Vicaria reacts well. Gets the second ball. Van de Ven's not having any of it. And Kudus with a little kick out. That the Spurs players have seen. And Kudus. Well. There might be a couple of yellow card incidents in there. But that one. That second one. For me. Warrants a red. Clearly warrants a red. And here it comes. Kudus. Goal bound. Werner. Nearly finds Johnson away by Tadejbo. But that's it. As Spurs are back. And back to the win.
