APPALACHIAN TRAIL | Ep 1 | Everything We Hoped For

PLEASE NOTE: WE RETURNED HOME DUE TO CORONA VIRUS AND ARE CURRENTLY IN 14-DAY QUARANTINE.

We have started our thru-hike from Amicalola falls to Springer Mountain camp ground. We began in glorious sunshine, however after a few hours in, the weather turned and it made for a very eery, mystical hike up the mountain into camp. This completed our first day of our thru hike! 9 miles!

We’re Scott & Lauren, a couple from Melbourne in Australia!

Our passion for travelling, backpacking and hiking started back in July of 2017 when we headed off to Europe for a 6-month backpacking trip, which would ultimately change our lives. After returning in January 2018, the "standard" post-travel emotions hit.

We both decided we would knuckle down and try and save as much money as possible before jetting off again to see more of this beautiful world.
