Escaping the snow to Albuquerque, New Mexico

On our way to Albuquerque we hit a snowstorm, but we continued on to explore this great city, including the nuclear science and history museum, Old Town, and Sandias mountains. Aren’t we supposed to be escaping snow on this trip?
