This Is Our God - Phil Wickham (Drum Tutorial/Play-Through)

What's up worship drummers, Timothy here and today I have a brand new video for you and it is a playthrough of a song called This is Our God by Phil Wakeham and when it comes to preparing for worship sets often we have limited time and so I decided to put together a free resource where I guide you through five steps on how to effectively and efficiently prepare for worship sets and so if you'd like to gain access to that you can click the link below in the description and let's dive into the playthrough. This is our God, this is what he does, he saves us He bore the cross, beat the grave of our sin, nobody but Jesus Looked down at that pit, he did it, he did it Cooked the grave of our sin, nobody but Jesus I hope that this video was helpful and if you'd like to gain access to some extra resources that will help you with preparation check this out. I created a membership website for worship drummers just like you where I post in-depth tutorials for worship songs. Now let me show you what they look like. After you sign up you gain access to the membership products and after clicking on this it will take you to a library with all the in-depth tutorials. Let's look at the tutorial for Who You Say I Am by Hillsong Worship. Here you have the playthrough video. Here you will have two buttons, one is with drum lessons where you have all the videos with the breakdowns and then here you have a drumless video which has metronome, no drums and it's a great tool for practicing after you learn the song. Then here you have the structure of the song with notations for each part and then on the right side you have a video breakdown for that specific part and then a practice link. When you click on the video breakdown it will play it at full speed and then slow down as well and when you click on the practice link it will take you to group scribe where you can adjust the tempo of that part and you can play it as well so that you can play along with it and it's a great tool for practicing. At the bottom of each tutorial you have bonus fill lessons with a breakdown video as well, the practice link and the timestamp of the exact time where the fill is in the song. Now if you would be interested in downloading the drum notations and printing it out you can click here and that will take you to the drum notation and you can save it and print it out. This is how the in-depth tutorials for each song look like. On top of that I add a new tutorial each week. As a member you get to be a part of the worship community forum, you get access to all of my ebooks, courses, full drum charts and you get to join our monthly live Q&A.
