How come you kissed him and you didn't kiss me?
I don't have any reason for that, I'm sorry.
He's just a very attractive man.
Well, I suppose he is more the grandfatherly type and you feel comfortable with him.
Too much sexual attraction going on between us and she didn't feel comfortable.
I'm jealous.
Is that the correct title? The Rumble Fish?
That's a strange title. Is it fair to ask you what that means?
Rumble Fish is sort of a slang name for Siamese Fighting Fish,
which is symbolic of a relationship that goes on in the film Matt Dillon and Mickey Rourke.
It's the second film I did for Coppola.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm doing a third one now.
As soon as I get done, I'm out.
You're a very busy young lady.
Somebody told me you just graduated from high school.
I got my ring.
Is that true?
Got my ring, got it in the mail, but I got it.
What do you mean? Can I see your ring?
What high school is that?
It's called Quintana School for Young Professionals.
Yeah?
Yeah.
And you had to get it by mail because you couldn't be there or what?
That's right.
I've been out here, this is the five-month anniversary date of the start of the film, Streets of Fire.
You told me that backstage.
I know.
Which is rather long.
It's a long one, it's a long one.
Yeah.
Are you about, can I guess your age?
You've got to be 17, 18, 19.
A great guess, isn't it?
Very good, yeah.
Boy, you really like to narrow things down.
Well, you get out of high school, you're about that age.
Eighteen.
Yeah.
Did you have a big blowout for your 18th birthday party?
I did my laundry, actually.
That's what I did for my birthday.
I had a big surprise birthday party thrown for me on my 16th, sweet 16, muckadoo deal.
And it was a fiasco for me because I had to play hostess to a bunch of people I did not know.
And it was like a burden, you know.
I said, this one is going to be just another day in the life of.
And I went out and I did my laundry.
You must have started this business very young.
Yeah, I was just about seven, I was six.
Are you the child of professional actors or actresses?
Am I the child of? Oh, I see what you mean.
How many?
No, I guess let me rephrase the question.
Were your mother and father entertainers?
Well, my mother was.
I haven't used that one yet.
You can use parents if you want.
Parents.
Appropriate word.
My mother was playmate of the month, October 57.
I'm very proud of her for that.
It wasn't that time.
Isn't that?
Did you realize it at that time when you were?
Well, I was not even an idea at that point.
Oh, I see.
Of course, I just reestablish your 18 and 57.
She was only 19.
Would you do something like that?
No.
Why not?
Well, because you have to reveal quite a bit more at this point.
That's one good reason.
There's many other good reasons why I would choose not to do that.
I don't have to.
Mom wanted to get a lot of exposure and she did.
