How to dress like a Christian girl

Hi. I feel like if somebody sees this video that isn't a Christian, I'm going to get trampled in the comment section for some of the things that I have to say, but I feel like also Christian girls might have a problem with some of the things that I have to say. I recently did a video that was super similar to this, and I had asked the men in the comment section below that video to let me know if I was on target with some of the things that I felt conviction in, and I just feel like that comment section speaks for itself, that ladies, it does matter what we And as usual, the enemy comes to do three things, and that's to steal, kill, and destroy. And if you don't think that the enemy has his hand on women's clothing and what clothing women are enticed to wear in 2024 with how many Christian men battle with lust, ladies, come on. It has never been easier to stand out. Let's have other women look at us and say, wow, she's not wearing a skimpy outfit, but she still looks beautiful. That you don't need to show it all to look beautiful. You don't need to address every curve on your body to look beautiful and to attract a good man. Let's set the example for other women, how much power there is in dressing worthy of honor and respect. And similarly with this video, my brothers, please let me know in the comment section below this video, are we heading in the right direction with these tips? And my sisters, let me know if this changed the way that you view clothes. That is my intention with this video because I experienced true freedom when I finally took the initiative to dress with dignity. With that being said, let's dive in. Okay. First things first, modesty doesn't mean hiding away. I think that's what so many think modesty is. When we hear modesty, we think, okay, if I go down this route, it's going to be harder to attract a guy, which that is a lie from the enemy and a lie that I believed for so long. There's so many ways to dress modestly and still be on trend. It doesn't mean looking unattractive for the rest of your life, but we do dress to attract, right? And the world is so offended by this. If you tell a woman in 2024 that what she wears matters, oh my goodness, you will get dragged through the mud. When the obvious is that different outfits attract different men, whether we want to believe that or not, but okay. My first tip is layering tops. So let's take this top for example, before Jesus, I would just leave the house wearing this because before a time when women started dressing less and less, this was considered an undershirt. So I started treating it like one and I'm not personally a fashionista, but layering has helped me become one because it honestly looks better. Double layering is super cute and just such an easy way to a modest approach to some of your favorite shirts that you already own. Okay, next I would say is defining your waist. I've noticed this helps with modest outfits, but steers us away from that frumpy look. Investing in belts can be super helpful to do this. I feel like this is such a graceful way to show off your shape and also look fashionable and put together. And you'd be surprised that this is just enough mystery for a man. I would argue that men are desiring mystery because there is none anymore. What an easy time to stand out in a crowd as a woman dressed with dignity. Your Christian man is looking for you. How can he find you if you look like the world? Number three, super short one, but I have to put it in here because half tucks make everything look better. Such a simple tip that can help your modest outfit look more appealing and less frumpy. I'm using that word a lot today, but I feel like a lot of women are in fear of that. I was in fear of that when I started pressing into what a Proverbs 31 woman looks like. I was like, okay, so I'm just gonna have to dress ugly for the rest of my life. I was thinking clothing like this, but we do not have to dress like this in order to be modest. Okay, number four, investing in high quality clothing items. If you live in America, especially, you know that we have been consumed by consumerism and clothing sites like Shein and Forever 21 with super affordable prices, which is good. I still shop at those places as well. I'm just saying that when I started investing in one very nice clothing item, I found myself wanting to wear it more than the 30 items I could buy instead of this one item at the same price. I don't know, this was a random one, but it helped me embrace modesty. Helped me enter into the modest fashion world. And okay, the last one, which is number five, which I know my Christian men are gonna go crazy in the comment section below, and ladies, that should speak volumes. So the last one is dresses. Dresses, dresses, dresses. Do not roll your eyes at me because men love dresses, and guess what? The world is starting to catch on to this yet again because we have went so far away from femininity that women were starting to dress like boys. And I don't know if you remember, but it was a huge thing on TikTok at the beginning of this year that women were starting to wear dresses again. That women were starting to dress feminine again because guess what? They realized that men are attracted to feminine women. Men are wired to be attracted to our feminine nature as women. I used to be a huge streetwear girl, still am, not getting rid of my sweatpants. But I also know now that investing in some really nice dresses is feminine and an easy way to dress with dignity. And if you're wondering where to find some modest Christian dresses, I found great difficulty in this because, I don't know if you noticed, it is very hard to dress modest in 2024. All of the clothing stores, they do not cater to a modest lifestyle. But a store I used to hate, and they obviously have changed over the years, is Francesca's. And that's where I get all of my dresses. And I know that they are on the higher end, but what I do is I'll invest in one nice dress like every month or so. And now I have so many cute modest dresses from there. And guess what? It has never been easier to get ready for church because I just grab a dress and I go. Christian modesty is more than just a dress code. It's more than just purchasing what you see other Christian girls wearing. It's a heart posture. It's about showing respect for ourselves and others in how we present ourselves to the world and what we choose to walk into society with. In a society that often equates fashion with identity, when we embrace modesty as Christian women, it can be a powerful statement of our faith. Modesty reflects a deeper understanding of our value rooted in God's love for us. It encourages us to think about what we wear and how it represents our beliefs. Choosing clothing that empowers rather than objectifies can transform not just our appearance, but also how we interact with the world. And I've gotten to experience this myself when I started to ask God to change the way that I viewed myself, to help me see how He sees me. And it exposed the roots of why I was dressing the way I was dressing. So my girls, I am inviting you to start praying about this, to start asking God to change your heart and your mind when it comes to how you view clothing and what you choose to put on. Because I'm aware that this is a personal conviction. I'm aware there's some things that I will not wear that maybe you don't find to be convicting for you. I totally get that. But it's something that we should continuously be praying about, something that I continuously do. Every couple of months, I return back to my closet and I'm like, God, what needs to go? Ask God to change the way that you look at yourself. Ultimately, Christian modesty invites us to examine our hearts and intentions. It's about choosing to reflect God's light in every aspect of our lives, including our style.
