Hi everyone, welcome back to another delicious recipe.
Today we are making garlic butter steak bite,
one of my favorite.
It's so juicy, it's so delicious,
perfect for a weeknight dinner or a date night at home.
But before I show you guys how this recipe is done,
if you're new here, do not forget to subscribe.
Hit the video with a thumbs up for me and let's dive in.
All right guys, to begin, I have three New York strip here,
nice and ready to go.
So I am going to remove the fat,
just cut that off, we don't need it.
If you were to cook this as a whole,
maybe you can keep it in, but I'm just gonna remove that
and cut my steak into bite-sized pieces.
This
into
like one inch pieces, something like this.
This is how they're supposed to look
once you're done cutting them.
So I'm going to continue cutting the rest,
pretty much the same way, right in the middle
and just cut it.
And make sure your knife is nice and sharp.
It's gonna cut that steak like butter.
Once you have your steak nice and cut into bite-sized pieces,
you're going to pat it dry, just like this.
Flip them over so they don't boil, okay?
You want them to have that nice golden sear on them.
You don't want it to boil.
So that's why we are patting it dry.
Once you're done with that,
you are going to drizzle a little bit of olive oil.
Ooh, that's a little bit too much.
To your steak, mix it nicely.
Make sure it's nicely coated with the oil.
Now, to season, I have onion powder, garlic powder,
salt, and ground black pepper.
I like to mix it in and then season like this.
Just sprinkle that seasoning on there.
There's no need to be fancy and exotic
when it comes to steak.
Salt and pepper always, with a little bit of garlic powder,
onion powder should do it for you.
Just mix it.
Now we're ready to pan sear our steak.
I have my cast iron on high heat.
I am going to drizzle a little bit of oil,
about to a high heat cast iron.
Add your oil.
Once that is nice and hot,
you're going to pour, not pour,
you're going to add in your steak bites.
Now, I like to give them some space.
I don't want them to be, you know,
touching each other too, too much.
Just like this.
We want a nice sear on them.
So that's why we're kind of like spreading them apart.
Ooh, I'm gonna let this go for about one minute.
Then I'll flip it over.
And if you want it well done,
you might have to leave it longer,
maybe two minutes per side.
All right, it's time for me to flip the steak over.
As you can see, we have a beautiful sear on it.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Flip it over and allow the other side
to get that golden brown color as well.
Oh, it smells so good.
So, so good.
Using a cast iron skillet is best
when it comes to steak bites.
You're going to get that nice sear
on each of the steak bites.
Perfect.
It's time for me to take the steak out.
Look how gorgeous, beautiful they are.
And it smells so, so good.
Absolutely delicious.
Just remove them.
So we don't overcook them
because we are going to place them back in here.
I want them to be nice and juicy and not dry.
So that's why I am removing them right now.
And this is what we're looking like so far.
Juicy, delicious.
Now it's time to make that delicious garlic butter sauce.
I have four tablespoon of unsalted butter here.
We are going to melt that.
While the butter is melting, let's press our garlic.
Ooh, lots of garlic
because we want that garlic butter flavor.
Once you have that garlic nice and pressed,
you're going to add that right in.
Yes, ma'am.
Also, we have some shallot going in.
Ooh, it smells good.
And we got some rosemary as well.
Give that a little mix.
Turn it down at this point, obviously.
Ooh, smells so good.
We have some Worcestershire sauce going in.
Oh, yes.
Now it's the perfect time for you to add your steak in.
I'm going to add all that juice from the steak.
You know, add that in.
Ooh, smells so good.
Give that a little stir.
Oh my goodness, y'all.
It smells amazing.
And I mean, amazing, okay?
So, so good.
So delicious.
I'm going to add some fresh parsley on here
and then give it another stir.
Make sure that butter
is nicely coated on the steak bites.
And it's pretty much done.
You can turn off your stove at this point.
You know this is about to be delicious.
Oh, yes.
Oh my God, it's looking so good.
It's smelling amazing.
Let's give it a try.
It's buttery, it's juicy.
Cheers, everyone.
