Color Harmony is a tool for finding new colors that work harmoniously with our currently selected color.
So let's make a start and open our colors.
We can find the Color Harmony tab just here.
We can change the hue and saturation from our color wheel and the tonal value with a slider underneath.
We can grab colors directly from the canvas using the eyedropper tool
or use previously stored colors from any of our saved palettes.
Color Harmony is set to complementary mode by default.
Complementary gives us a direct opposite hue on the color wheel.
We can choose between different modes of Color Harmony by tapping the namespace here.
Next we have Split Complementary, which finds two colors of the wheel that directly neighbor the complementary opposite of our selection.
Next is Analogous, which will find the two colors of the wheel that are directly adjacent our selection.
The next mode, Triadic, will show an evenly spread selection throughout the color wheel at three points.
And lastly, Tetradic, will show four balanced points of the color wheel.
We can tap these smaller reticules to make that our selected color and then just start working.
Or, if we find a selection that we'd like to keep, we can save these by grabbing a new palette from our palettes tab
and tap and then place these colors for later.
It's worth a mention that Color Harmony can also be used when the color panel is undocked.
