AETERNUM : Legacy of Rome

Aeternum. The eternal empire. The beacon of civilization in the nebulous vastity of darkness. The unshaken symbol of strength and resilience. Our invaluable legacy from the gods. For two thousand years we marched to the beat of war drums. Our armies unbreakable. Our legions unmatched. Until the light of Rome embraced the whole terror. The power that has brought us to the very edges of the known universe. Our cities gleaming with the light of progress and prosperity. But the void of space is a fickle mistress. A sinister whisper of danger. A silent menace to our existence. Yet we stand tall. For we are the inheritors of Rome and the blood of the gods runs in our veins. In times of peace our citizens toil tirelessly unlocking the secrets of the universe. Building wonders beyond imagination. In times of war our enemies tremble at the sound of our legions. For we are the shield that protects and the gladius that thrusts. I stand here today a veteran of Aeternum's wars. A witness to its power. A servant of its legacy. I have seen the unchanging spirit of our people in the face of adversity. The bravery of our legionnaires who lay down their lives to protect our empire. But there is a storm brewing on the horizon. An ominous threat looming in the far distant gloom. Our enemies gather. Their armies march with weapons aimed at our hearts. Yet we are not afraid. For we are the unequaled heirs of Rome. Made of one temple of unshrinking passion. And we shall fight to defend its perennial legacy. So I raise my voice in salute to the Aeternals. Ave Aeternum. May your light shine bright. May your armies conquer. May your citizens be proud. May the legacy of Rome endure no matter what fate may befall us. For we are the offspring of the gods. The inheritors of Rome. And what we do in life echoes in eternity.
