MONZA-BRESCIA 3-1 | HIGHLIGHTS | Monza cruise to next round | Coppa Italia Frecciarossa 2024/25

First chance here for Monza to test the goalkeeper and it's crashed off the frame of the goal. Looked like the last touch was Calderola. Martins. Martins taking on his man. It's a dangerous ball in. Kyriakopoulos. Buried. It's taken Monza less than five minutes to hit the front. One nil to Dabrianzoli. Pessina opens it up to Kyriakopoulos, the goal scorer. Kyriakopoulos teasing ball in and they're queuing up for it. It's been tucked away by captain Matteo Pessina but it's all too easy for Dabrianzoli. Maric onto the ball from Caprari. There's a mix-up in the back line. Maric and what a tackle that is. The referee's given a penalty. Well a yellow card coming out for Papeti. Caprari sends the keeper the wrong way. A big goal for Caprari. Personally his first in 16 months. He's back on the score sheet. This is Maric. Pessina on the edge of the area. Pessina. Pessina. That's a top quality save there from Andre Naci. Lovely give and go here. Patrick Nuama is in. He's rounded the goalkeeper and he scored a really good goal. It might just be a consolation. Is there time for Brescia to mount an unlikely comeback here? Huge relief for the Dabrianzoli who've had a tough start to life under Alessandro Nesta. The final score Monza 3 Brescia 1. And Monza will face Bologna in the last 16.
