A weekend in Geneva, Switzerland 🍦Travel vlog

I don't really know exactly when or why Geneva made its way onto my bucket list,
but it's been there for quite some time now. Last year I came so close to visiting, but it
didn't quite happen. However, this year I found myself heading to Lyon for a conference and I
knew that it was finally the perfect time to explore Geneva. Honestly, I had no idea what
to expect, but Geneva turned out to have a unique charm. It's been the sweetest and
most peaceful weekend ever. There is a very special type of atmosphere in Geneva
that I haven't encountered before. I arrived in Geneva around noon and checked into my Airbnb.
Excited to explore, I found a cafe in the old town where the cutest sparrow almost stole my cookie.
I'm all sweaty.
After a quick snack, I wandered around visiting Saint-Pierre's Cathedral
and taking a stroll along the world's longest bench.
While exploring the city, I unexpectedly stumbled upon a building with colorful
wooden shutters in the city center. With a few hours to spare before David's flight,
I decided to head back to my Airbnb and recharge for the evening.
The air was unacceptable today and also it's so windy that it's going everywhere,
so I had to fix it. So when we go out for dinner, it just stays this way.
Actually, I'm really proud of myself. I did it quite quickly.
Hello YouTube. What's up? Let's go this way.
Top three craziest shit that ever happened to me today. So I had lunch. I was in Copenhagen and I
had four hours to kill, so I took a nice stroll and then I sat down at McDonald's to eat lunch
and I have my burgers and my fries and I'm just about to start my freshly brewed coffee
and one guy goes in and it's just a random dude and he takes a seat and I don't pay any attention
to him except that he looked quite mad, but whatever, so I just do my thing and then he
stands up, goes to his bag, takes out a bottle of juice, walks to me and opens the lid and
all of them, I get completely soaked in juice. You can see I have washed my clothes pretty well,
but you see some... Everybody looked at me because obviously it was a scene
in McDonald's and he said that I've been following him and that I want to hurt him,
but these guys who spoke to him in Danish, they said to me that he's a mental ill guy,
he's a maniac. Lesson learned here is that whenever somebody decides to attack you off-guard,
you don't have a chance. Lucky that it was just an apple juice or orange juice. He picked a weapon
that is not that dangerous, like it could have been a knife or like warm water or something,
then I would burn. Yeah. I don't know. I don't think this will happen to many people. Cool story.
We are in Old Town. Lasagne or Gurkha. Have you tried the bread? No.
Have you seen his ride? Yes. What do you want to do now? I'm gonna eat this ice cream.
By far the least. On our way to the dessert. It started raining. Yeah, that is the
main theme of this summer. David is pissed because he had a horrible weather in Sweden. No,
I'm pissed because I was supposed to pay a new work, so now my lady had to pay the bill and I
look like a broke dude. Who had no sufficient funds. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the worst, you know.
He wanted to impress me and like tip the waiter and everything and he couldn't pay.
Fantastic. Not as good as the one we have, but we'll do.
What are you doing? Geneva is a busy city. No, it's not at all.
I rarely mix with people. Italian.
And it must be their own small language. You cheat. The truth is that you failed, but you had some.
So now we are approaching the most important landmark of Geneva. The fountain.
We were going to go for a run in the morning. Did it happen? No, I'm too stiff.
Hello, YouTube. Like and subscribe. If we get this to how many thousand views? 40k. You win her.
You get her. I will donate this lady here if we get this to 40k. So like and subscribe.
these are very disturbing. I've been to many botanical gardens in Europe and I rate this
definitely one of the best botanical gardens I've ever been to.
I'm so tired because I didn't sleep well. I could sleep here. Me too.
How was your breakfast today? It was absolutely delicious.
I'm cheering up because I picked a great lunch. Yeah. You picked an awful lunch, like always.
Well, well, well, today he's actually paying. Yeah, my car is so active.
Last sprint.
I can tell you this is the most sour thing I've ever had. Yours is better. Mine is really good.
Trusting David for my main course was a great idea because I have this thing that
whatever I choose is crap very often. So this time David was like, no, no, no, no, no.
You take what I take. It was great. So thank you. Thank you. So now I'm taking him as a reward
to see the longest bench in the world. And actually the bench itself is...
I paid for the food by the way. Yes, he paid again.
Do you like it? Someone is soon to be destroyed in chess yet again.
So this water and then Amsterdam water is quite different. Quite some difference, huh?
So the day is not over.
This one? Yes. And this one. Happy?
Checked out of my Airbnb. David left in the morning. I went for a run that I've been dreaming
about since we came here. So I'm super happy that I managed to do that. And the checkout was also at
12. So that was amazing. I had enough time to shower and pack and everything. David told me
that there's a flea market in a park somewhere in Geneva. So it's even more peaceful on Sunday
because we were saying that on Friday and Saturday. So there's nothing going on in the city.
Everything is closed. I think I'm just going to find a peaceful place near the lake and chill
for a few hours and call my friends and then go to the airport.
Okay, so David was right. There is actually a flea market here.
