Highlights: Manchester United - Twente | League Phase | Europa League 24/25

Well, the rain is lashing down, the autumn solstice has arrived and that means the return of European football. Salah Hedin is overlapping Van Bergen. Trying to get around Masraoui, has he taken it too far? No, he hasn't. Masraoui slides in, makes the challenge. Whipped in, allowed to bounce. Below there to try and mop up, but the ball is crossed in! And it's flicked just wide. Another, I would say, half yard closer to that goal and that would have crept in off the post. United have gone away with one. Xherxey, lovely backfield, Rashford with the cross. But this was a fine touch, great awareness to spot Rashford's run. Headed down by Martinez! Very early scores, a comical own goal. But it's more excellent work from Marcus Rashford. Fernandes, tries to stick it through towards the low. Oh, brilliant try, Christian Eriksen! He hammered that home! Not something you want to face as a tiring defender. Well, not to face this from Van Rooij either. I thought no-one was going to stop him, Eriksen's given it away. Twente could be in, they've got the equaliser. Sam Lammers. United truly punished for some sloppy play. Good ball into Xherxey, Delo. Xherxey, on his left foot! Bogatti. Can he pull it back? Oh, the short, curled wide. Difficult to see, but we'll see now because he didn't miss by much. And that is it. Well, there's only one team celebrating. It's not Eric Ten Haag's current club, it's his boyhood club. Who upon their first visit to Old Trafford, have come away with a point in the Europa League.
