Sunrise and cheetah cubs

Well another day and another beautiful quandary sunrise this morning and it gets even better when you find a female cheetah and cubs while you're watching the sunrise as well. This is the same female cheetah with her three cubs that we saw recently and we've got a couple of glimpses of them in the last few days but she's actually been moving in some pretty thick areas and now this morning thankfully she's out in the open in the bottom part of Fort Dam at the moment and quite a bit of play going on with the cubs and she's actually getting involved quite often as well which is lovely to see. These cheetah on the move now heading up a slope and I think from up there she might try and get a better vantage point to see if she can spot any prey animals around here. I've just managed to get up onto the slope where these cheetah are and as I've got here the one cub has actually climbed up into a small jacket plum tree. Cheetah are not the best climbers but they can certainly do it on occasion and this cub's demonstrating that perfectly at the moment. Well of course just when the first cub has come out of the tree so one of its siblings has decided it wants to go and see what it's like up there as well and the second cub is just making its way down out of the tree now and I assume probably just going to settle down with everybody else now. Well it seems like everybody's starting to settle down and just have a bit of a snooze here now so I think that's probably going to be their plan for the foreseeable future but I certainly think that in the next day or two they're going to need to find a meal at some stage along the line.
