Today I am back in famous Shibuya to check out a restaurant that's located in the back street.
It's a very mysterious little restaurant and it's known for its incredibly delicious wagyu steak and
their unique way of grilling it. Not that many people know about this restaurant yet and it's
located in a little bit of a hidden area so it's a bit hard to find. So if you guys want to figure
out where it is you're gonna have to follow me. Wow! It really does look too beautiful to eat.

All right, let's go unlock the hidden secret in Shibuya. Let's go!
I am now in the back streets of Shibuya. This is a little bit of a lesser known part of Shibuya
because it's a bit quieter, it's got a lot of clubs, but also it's really well known for their
love hotels. For those of you who don't know what love hotels are, they're basically hotels
for lovin'. But the reason why I'm in these back streets today is because the restaurant that I'm
headed to is right nearby. There are a few restaurants hidden in this area so it'll be
a little bit of a hidden gem for you today. Oh this is really cool. I have no idea where this
path is taking me. Oh there's a little secret garden here. I wonder where it could be. It's
not here. Oh I think this is it. Logama Steak Arcanum. This is the one. This is all very
mysterious. I had no idea there's this little nook of secret restaurants in the back streets
of Shibuya. It feels very much like I've just stepped into a cabin with these log pillars
overhead.
Starting with champagne. Very fancy.
Wow that looks so good. So you can actually see the certification that it is brand Kobe beef.
It really does look too beautiful to eat but I'm gonna dig in and enjoy this edible flower.
Oh that is a wonderful very gentle but incredibly flavorful bite.
This is really good. This is a bite where you can really enjoy the textures. It truly is an amuse-bouche
which is a fun bite.
Oh!
There are some ingredients here that I've never tried before. Little tiny green onions which look
like chives and dried kombu which is a type of seaweed that's used for a lot of soups and broths
in Japan. I'm really really interested to see how this all comes together.
The beef itself is so tender. It kind of falls apart in your mouth as you're chewing it
and it's absorbed all of this incredible flavor from the broth. Really tasty but honestly the
biggest impact is this burst of umami flavor as soon as you take a bite. It's so tasty.
I'm very curious to see what the mushroom and ise shrimp kind of a lobster combination will be like.
Immediately blown away by the texture. I thought there was going to be a little bit of crunch in
there. Not at all. It all blends together so seamlessly.
All right so now let's try the shark fin with the lobster sauce and I've never actually tried shark
fin before so there's a first time for everything. Here we go. Shark fin has this really interesting
texture. It's soft. It's got these little threads so you get a little bit of bite to it and yet it's
super super tender and what I really like is this lobster sauce. It kind of tastes like a
lobster bisque almost.
Just very simple but beautiful pops of color. This meat looks incredible.
I'm going to start with the steak. We'll have a little sip of wine and then have a bite of steak.
All right so I think that's going to be yeah a very nice pairing with the beef.
Wow that is so delicious first of all. It is so incredibly juicy thanks to the cooking style
using the logama, the kiln. It's kiln roasted so the outside is really crisp but the inside
is perfectly medium rare and it keeps all of this like fattiness and juicy. It melts in your mouth.
It's got so much flavor. This is a really special grilling style. Definitely worth a try.
All right we're going to try the peanut butter kabocha squash.
Really delicious and I'm very impressed with the logama kiln roasted cooking style. I think abroad
the major impression of how Japanese wagyu beef is made especially Kobe beef is kind of on a
grill which is like a steel grill called teppan yaki but it's really cool to see the different
kinds of cooking trends in Japan as well and that recently the logama is starting to become
incorporated into fine dining.
This looks so beautiful. It looks almost like a deconstructed sushi which is very creative
with the raw beef, the sea urchin and a little bit of wasabi on top of the sushi rice. You actually
cannot tell that the beef is raw. It really kind of blends very nicely together with the sea urchin
which is so creamy. It really does taste like a deconstructed sushi but also just like the
closing dish for the end of the meal because traditionally in Japan a lot of meals are ended
with a rice or noodle dish and that's called the shime. Why is that so good? The flavors really
blend together so deliciously.
This was such a delicious meal and if you guys are interested in coming to this restaurant as well
it's a beautiful kind of private and intimate experience. I definitely recommend it and if
you would like to try it the links will be down in the bio or you can also use our new QR codes.
You can just scan it with your smartphone and it should take you directly to the booking website
which is on Baifu. There are five different course options you can choose online at different price
points and of course there are even more dishes you can enjoy in the course than what I tried
today. I just tried a little tidbit, a little sampler if you will, of what you can get in the
course. Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this video and please let me know what you guys think of the
nogama or kiln roasted salad cooking and let me know if you guys would like to try it as well.
Thank you always for watching and make sure to give us a like, leave us a comment, share the video
and as always don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already. All right we'll see you guys
soon in another video. Bye! If you enjoyed this adventure click the photos on the left for more
