Speaking of milestones, you have an eight-year-old son who just started third grade.
I was just FaceTiming him before I came out, actually.
Oh, I mean, that was fast, right?
Yeah, it's quick, isn't it?
Yeah.
It's very odd with little ones, because, you know, school is like, it just goes like this, doesn't it?
A school year feels like not a real year.
Right, right.
Like, it's just, with the holidays and everything, it's just an odd one.
So what's, when you're in third grade at eight, what's he into?
What's hot right now?
He's very, he's very artistic.
He's quite, he sort of loves to draw.
He's into music a little bit.
He plays a little bit of the piano.
But Legos?
Legos.
I've just got him like a technical Lego set.
But I don't know whether that's for him or for me, to be honest.
Yeah, yeah.
Because I got him a giant Porsche technical set.
Were you into Legos?
As a kid, yeah.
What were you into as an eight-year-old?
Yeah, yeah.
I was into the garden.
I was into, like, climbing trees, imagining I was like a cowboy or an Indian.
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah.
Look at those eyes.
That could be Flynn.
Look at that.
Does he look like that?
When he was that age, yeah.
It's funny.
I think about my own sons who are really adults now.
But you, they were such fans of yours.
And I think, like, at around eight, like, they really loved the Lord of the Rings.
They kicked into that.
Yeah, they really were into that.
It was right in the zeitgeist, wasn't it?
Yeah.
Is your son, does he, is he familiar with your work?
You know, I did, I did put pirates on when he was quite young.
Because I was conscious that, like, actually maybe it'd be playing on the back of somebody's
house when he was having a play date.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
It's one of those movies that was still.
I was like, wait, is that my, you know, so I was like, hey, this is what dad does.
Right.
He's had snippets of Lord of the Rings and things.
But, yeah.
Yeah.
He's not, he's not fazed.
He's completely unfazed.
I mean, he's like, he's like, really?
Yeah.
Or at least that's how he plays it.
He plays it so cool, my son.
He plays it super cool.
It's still going to be cool on, you know.
Show and tell day.
Bring your parents to work day.
Yeah.
That would be great.
That's always a winner.
Absolutely.
Thank you.
