Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Daughter North Wants to "Own" SKIMS Brand

North West is ready for the stage! The eldest child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West gets her moment in the spotlight in a new interview with i-D, published October 31st. The 10-year-old opens up about her future and proves just how much she's taking career cues from her celebrity parents. North reveals her current favorite song is Kanye's Through the Wire, and she's also inherited her dad's love for music, telling the outlet, Yeah, I like singing. She adds, Performing is my favorite. As for specific jobs she's considering, North lists a rapper, a basketball player, and I'm going to make artwork that I sell. But in the short term, she's already got budding ideas to cash in, explaining to i-D, When I'm like 13, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive. She also has her eyes on two very big prizes, Kim and Ye's lucrative companies. North declares, One day I want to own Yeezy and Skims, and I want to be a business owner. And not only is she getting inspo from her famous rents regarding her career path, she's also raiding their closets, and we would too in her shoes. When i-D asks what item of clothing she wants that she hasn't got yet, North says, My mom's clothes and my dad's clothes, if they fit me. But they aren't her style icons. The one she looks to for fashion tips is standing right in the mirror, with the confident kiddo saying her icon is me. In other rapid-fire cues, North says the best thing in her wardrobe is the Michael Jackson jacket that Kim got her for Christmas, and the best fashion show she's been to wasn't in Milan or Paris. It was her little sister Chicago's fashion show, which took place quote, in her closet. If she could live anywhere besides LA, it would be Japan. And if she could meet one person, it would be Tupac. The animal she would want to be is surprising, since she says, Mosquito. Why? North explains, Because I'm allergic to them, and I can tell them all to leave me alone. And she tells the outlet that the three words she'd use to describe her life right now, is as you would expect for this super cool nepo baby. North sums it up with, Blessed, awesome, and cool.
