When you are considering your quick and easy grab-and-go breakfast,
there's two experiences.
You got the bagel on one side, and then you got the donut.
And before today, they were two completely different things,
but Brothers Green is here to change it all and bring them together.
It worked, because you like to go both ways, you know.
Yeah, you know. Bagel, donut, why not bring it together?
Now that we've got the bagel and donut knowledge,
it's time to create our jelly-filled everything bagel nut with sausage and egg scramble.
The first thing we have to do, though, is make the everything bagel spice.
It's my favorite bagel out there. It's got everything on it.
Too much for me.
Too much for you? What do you like?
Too much. I like the sesame.
See, that's just child's play.
Get your sesame seeds, minced onion, minced garlic, and your poppy seeds.
And then salt.
Yummy.
Since we're combining both bagel and donut,
I figured we take the cream cheese from the bagel side
and mesh it with the donut glaze, so we have a cream cheese glaze.
Genius.
One chunk of cream cheese.
Splish that.
And then a little powdered sugar. Oh, my.
Making sure it's legit.
And the powdered sugar just gives it a little sweetness,
which is nice because the cream cheese is just cheesy.
And then start adding milk.
You want to add milk?
That's it?
And I'm going to start whisking it together.
Really whisk it. You don't want clumps.
We want a smooth glaze.
Get back off, buddy.
God, I'm trying to get my finger in there. Jesus.
You could spend half a day making donut dough,
or you could buy a can of biscuits.
Some call it lazy. Other people call it lazy.
Biscuit dough is perfect for the bagel nut.
The texture is right between chewy bagel goodness
and soft donut heaven.
Since we're doing the ultimate bagel donut experience,
put some jelly in circular forms.
Man, this is sacrilicious.
Then we're going to take another biscuit, spread that one on top,
start crimping the sides together.
We're going to cut a hole.
Then you can start working the inside.
Then you kind of got your donut, and it's stuffed in there.
Drop that in the deep fryer.
Cook it 350 to 375.
Not a big deal if you don't have a deep fryer.
You can just shallow fry them in a pan with some oil.
These things are crispy. They're ready to go.
That looks sexy, man.
You got to add the glaze and seasoning
while the donuts are piping hot.
It kind of runs off and creates that perfectly thin glaze.
Sprinkle the everything bagel spice.
Look at that thing, are you kidding me?
It looks like a donut bagel.
We're done, folks.
That's not it.
I'm done!
It's not over yet.
I forgot my jelly. I'm done!
We could stop here.
We can't stop.
But we can't stop.
No, we won't stop.
We're going one step further for the ultimate breakfast experience.
We got a little sausage link, just kind of butterfly it open,
and just slap it a base on that thing.
When that's frying, whisk up an egg, scramble that up.
Oh!
I'm excited to eat this stupid piece of food that you made.
Cut up some scallions.
This scrambled egg is going to happen very quick.
Pour on your egg.
Just add some cheese to that.
Wow.
Let's build this bad boy.
Take our bagel, take the sausage,
straight on my friend,
and then your maple ketchup.
Maple ketchup is easy.
Just add some maple syrup and some ketchup, and that's it.
That, my friends, is the ultimate donut bagel experience.
We can eat.
You cut into that and you do it like a man.
Help me out.
Mike made it straight from a zebra.
Oh, I don't think you're ready for this jelly.
Whoa!
Tastes delicious.
Oh, my God.
That's something special.
Good job, my friend.
Friends, try this out at home.
You will love it.
