Inhumane Persecution of #FalunGong via #Propaganda Campaign and #Brainwashing

Now in Berlin, so I have to see you all. Good evening and good afternoon for you. Expecting for you, Shirley, for your kind organization and the invitation. I admire really a lot for your great efforts, incredible efforts in ending forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners and practitioners of conscience in China. So my topic tonight is about the persecution of Falun Gong. You see the agenda. It's about basically three questions. What is Falun Gong and why is the CCP persecuting Falun Gong? And the focus of today is the propaganda campaign and brainwashing against Falun Gong. And then a short brief introduction about the international action against the persecution of Falun Gong. And then you may ask, how can you personally help? So the first part is introduction to Falun Gong. It's a Chinese ritual practice for body and mind. If you help me to go ahead, then you can see the slides. It's about five soft exercises. And the fifth one is a meditation exercises and one main book on the next page. Zhuan Falun is the main book of Falun Gong. And it has been translated in 40 languages. Worldwide, it's popular around the world. And with three principles that are rooted in Buddhist tradition. And so five, one, three, it's very easy to remember because May 13th, 1992, the Chinese practice Falun Gong was publicly introduced by the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi. And then at the first beginning, before the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi and the Falun Gong itself are very popular, were supported by Chinese government. And you'll see the thank letter to the founder, Mr. Li. And moreover, you see here, the Chinese embassy in France invited Mr. Li to France and met him. And then Mr. Li was invited to give a Falun Dafa seminar on the coming next week in the March, in the year 1995. And there were very positive Chinese reports. Mr. Li was invited to different kinds of interviews and you see the Shanghai television reported the popularity of Falun Gong. And especially a verse to Mr. Li for his great contribution in the year 1992 and 1993. And it's absolute a very higher award. And then, yes. Then after Falun Gong was invited to France and Falun Gong was officially introduced to the United States on October, in October, 1996. And meanwhile, Mr. Li was honored as an ordinary citizen. And Li Hongzhi Day was also in the city of Boston. And then, May 13th is a special day for all Falun practitioners around the world. It's the World Falun Dafa Day. And especially on the day of this year, the U.S. Congress has raised the U.S. flag and honor Falun Gong founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi, and celebrate with all Falun Gong practitioners the Great Day, World Falun Dafa Day. Then it comes the question, why is Falun Gong, why are Falun Gong practitioners still being persecuted? There are a couple of reasons for that. The first reason is that Falun Gong was very popular within 17 years. Within seven years, from 1992 to 1999, and around 17 meetings to 100 meetings, Chinese people, they were practicing Falun Gong. Such popular among all Chinese society levels, like farmers, soldiers, professors, and high governmental officials. And you will see the next ones show us how was Falun Gong popular in China. In Guangzhou, in Beijing, on the next page, you'll see all kinds of Chinese people, I mean, different ages, young and both, even reported by many Chinese newspapers, they were practicing Falun Gong. And the second reason is the jealousy of the CCP leader, Jiang Zemin. So Jiang Zemin was actually basically came to power because of the Tiananmen Massacre in 1989. And then he was very jealous of the popularity of Falun Gong and the popularity of the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi. And then let's go to the third reason. It's important to know that atheism of the CCP is such a huge contrast to the Chinese divine culture of 5,000 years, because you have no other but that spiritual foundation of Chinese culture, Confucius, Taoism, and Buddhism, and it's somehow like a traditional Chinese people, they reflect themselves based on Buddhist philosophy or Daiist philosophy. And we will see the next page, then the Chinese culture emphasized really a great harmony between the earth, between heaven and people. And on the contrast, on the other side, the CCP on the next page, then you will see the CCP's philosophy is struggles and fight and battle with heaven, fight with the earth, struggle with the humans, and they enjoy the process. So this is a really huge contrast. And the next one would be that the CCP perpetrators have started with the persecution of Falun Gong, Falun Gong practitioners, starting in a very peaceful way and get respect around the world for their peaceful way to expose their crimes, and with the process, the more crimes has been exposed, so the CCP cannot stop the crimes because they are worrying about that if they stop the crimes, and they will be brought to the justice, so they don't want to stop. And next one, then maybe a brief introduction to the persecution of Falun Gong. So it was officially started on July 20th, 1999, but there were something interfere or repression by the Chinese authorities, like the Falun Gong books will not be published anymore. But from the July 20th, 1999, the then state president and the Chinese former state, you know, the party secretary of the CCP, they have the really, you know, the order like defame their reputations, the reputations of Falun Gong practitioners, perhaps them financially and destroy them physically, and they plan to eliminate the Falun Gong within three months, and so they established one 610 office. It was like a KCPO office. It was established on June 10th, 1999. And then on next page, you will see that, you know, more than 5,000 documented death cases, and they have been tortured to death. And this is documented cases. Actually, there are many Falun Gong practitioners, they have been tortured to death, you know, or even they've been killed for the organ harvesting, and Falun Gong practitioners abroad in the USA and Europe, they are facing really systematically the transnational repression, and it's happening very new now, the new, you know, the worldwide propaganda campaign by the CCP, maybe you have heard of already that the New York Times has published several articles that aim to attack Falun Gong practitioners. And next page, a couple of torture methods having got really international attention, like tiger chair, and the next one will be, you will see the sexual abuse of, you know, of both female and male Falun Gong practitioners. And this is a well-known case. Yin Yiping has testimonied her, you know, suffer from the sexual violence in the Ma Fanjia labor camp and in the US Congress. And then you will see the first, you know, next one, please. Yeah, the first feeding torture. Yeah, it's very brutal. And you see the pictures only in this labor camp or the prison of Liaoning province, they have been documented 14 Falun Gong practitioners they were, you know, even tortured to death. And the Falun Gong practitioner who was living now in the USA named Ding Xiaoxia suffered a strange torture and introduced into the NTD, the Falun Gong practitioners, they have been tortured to death. Yeah, it's very inhuman and brutal. So the next one, yeah, this is also, you know, your mission or you take many more efforts to expose or even do research on the false organ harvesting. And this is probably the first case that really gets, you know, international attention to think about false organ harvesting because the Falun Gong practitioner Wang Bing was, you know, he went to May 2000 to the Tiananmen Square to do a petition that according to the Chinese constitutional law and then he were brought to the labor camp and October 2000, he was so brutally tortured. And then as his family members say him, they could make this picture. And so you are asking what happened to him, right? Yeah, and the next one, the next page, it was the first, you know, the public testimony from Annie. So basically she describes, you know, her husband had first extracted corn ears from Falun Gong practitioners. And then recently there is a very famous case on the next page, you will see the Chinese Falun, Oh, before I go to the recent case, there is a very famous judgment, China Tribunal. I think you have really engaged in starting this, you know, the judgment and Falun Gong practitioners should be, you know, the main group that is being, you know, tortured and killed for their organs. And the next one, thank you. Yeah, and the next one. Yeah, and especially in the last week, Mr. Cheng Peiming's story, and he suffered from the torture from the false organ harvesting has really gained international attention of international medias, right? This is only one example. Basically, I think you have got the summary of the story. And basically he fled, you know, fled very luckily from the, you know, custody. And then he has nine years in China. He fled to Iran so that, because he was given the wanted notice by the Chinese authorities in different cities and provinces, right? And then he had to flee to Thailand, and then he could come to the USA in the year 2020 and got many medical exams. And unfortunately, it has confirmed that, yeah, his organs has been partly removed and harvested. The next page, you'll see that David Metis came into this case. He's a typical victim of China's false organ harvesting. And on one side, on the other side, it's unusual because he was lucky, despite so much suffer and huge danger of arrest again, false organ harvesting again, lost his life. He could survive from the crime and is now speaking out the false organ harvesting in the USA. And the next page you will see, this law professor, Mr. Destro, was at that time, while Mr. Cheng Peiming was brought to the USA, he was really the core person, the key person, the key role and responsible, right? Who was strongly involved in the rescue action for Cheng Peiming. And he said very obviously that it's not only a Falun Gong issue, it's a big issue that is related to everyone. So next page. So the focus of today is Chinese propaganda of the CCP. So maybe a couple of words on the character of the CCP. Basically, CCP is, you know, atheism and does not let anyone to have the, you know, the freedom of belief, right? And propaganda, next page, and you can see also the CCP is relying on violence and terror to get the power and to maintain the power. And use lies to justify violence. And CCP stands all above, above the Chinese law, constitutional law, and that is granted Chinese people many kinds of, you know, freedom. But, you know, this is just one instrument for the CCP to justify different kinds of state crime. So the next one. And maybe you have read the nine commentaries on the CCP. It's really inspiring book. And expose the characters of the CCP. So brainwashing to manipulate the Chinese people to control the, you know, the Chinese people, not only physically, but also mentally. And the CCP let you know that the CCP is always great, glorious, and correct, even though they have done many kinds of state crimes and made 800 million Chinese people that were innocent. Yeah, they killed them during different kinds of political movements and state crimes. So the next one. You have heard of Tiananmen Massacre. You have heard of the Cultural Revolution. I take it as an example because it was not really talked a lot, but it's very typical, you know, political movements. This is actually, the CCP has engaged in several land reforms. And this one from the 1950 is the first one or the first political movement that CCP did shortly after the CCP came to the power in 1949. So basically, it's very clear that the CCP, you know, make some kinds of, you know, label to different kinds of Chinese people in different kinds of categories. Yeah. And then, next video you see, there is even a law, and it's also possible to, you know, to approach the goal that the CCP wanted. And the wanted, I mean, and the, you know, the farmers will get the land, but the CCP and Mao next page, they will, they have denied. They want to, you know, the one of the Chinese people will be struggling with each other. So even to let them fear of the struggles of the CCP power so they can, the next page, and they will easily, you know, be manipulated and have the fear of the CCP. And Liu Shaoqi at that time was the vice president, and he reported even, okay, the one of the goals is follow the Chinese Communist Party, right? But Liu Shaoqi was, you know, being persecuted in the Cultural Revolution. So Liu Shaoqi himself is also a very famous victim of the Chinese, of the, you know, persecution by the CCP in the history. So next page, please. Yeah, and it's for Chinese people very famous, that you see the portrayal of Mao everywhere, every time in mainland China. And this is even, you know, in one tea field, I think in the field, yeah, it's a field. And you will see that, so you have to, every Chinese people have to obey what Mao says and follow the CCP. It's one typical way that CCP used to, you know, to build up, to set up a cult of personality. Next page. Yeah, there's some pictures that at that time Chinese people are crying as they know that Mao was, Mao died. And even for today, I found this page. It's a very famous Chinese high school in the Jiangsu province. And this is on the website. They have, you know, documented all kinds of restaurants. I picked them, which are very famous. And even, you have to consider the CCP as a mother, even better than the mother that's in the family. Next page, please. Now, I want to let you, you know, make it clear for yourself that this is the first, the CCP, once, while they started the persecution of Chinese people, they always use the same method, like propaganda first, and then you will be labeled as something very bad, like, you know, Uyghurs, terrorists, and Tibetan Buddhists. They were Tibetan separatists and something like this. And then they will, they have started the persecution. And they, while, in the meantime, and they will, you know, use the propaganda to justify the violence. And regarding the persecution of Falun Gong, there is one important, you know, incident, April 25th. It basically is about Falun Gong practitioners go to the Tianjin and for, you know, there was a magazine in Tianjin. They have published one article that slandered Falun Gong practitioners in Tianjin city. And they go to clarify the truth and like to, you know, cancel the article. And, but at last, the Tianjin city police stations, the police arrested 45 Falun Gong practitioners and told the Falun Gong practitioners from other city because Falun Gong practitioners were peacefully requesting them to release all Falun Gong practitioners that were arrested in the Tianjin city. And they say, no, you cannot come to us. You have to go to Beijing for the, you know, petition office. And then without organization, voluntarily more than 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners and they go there. Actually it was peacefully resolved by the Chinese premier minister, but Jiang Zemin was, you know, denying the way that, yeah, the Chinese premier minister. And then you will see on the next page, this is really one of the, you know, one of the most famous propaganda that even helped really the Chinese Communist Party to have the, you know, among the Chinese people to have the hate, has caused Chinese people to hate Falun Gong practitioners, to hate Falun Gong because of this, there is many misunderstanding. What happened there? It's really at the Chinese New Year's Eve in the year 2001, the CCP's know that there is no legal basis of the persecution of Falun Gong. And they have tried different kinds of ways to justify the persecution of Falun Gong. But many Chinese people, they know that, you know, at that time, Falun Gong was really very popular. That means one out of 13 Chinese people, they know about Falun Gong, you know, in the family, with the colleagues, they know what kinds of Falun Gong people are. And they are peaceful. They are just, you know, Falun Gong practitioners who tried their best to be a good person based on the principles of Falun Gong, truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. And the CCP then happened, it's the next page, please. In the January 2000, five Chinese people, they set them on fire. And really, within a short time, the CCP started the state-run medias to slander Falun Gong. See, Falun Gong practitioners were, you know, burning themselves. Actually, based on the independent investigations by journalists, next page, you will see that this self-immolation was staged by the Chinese Communist Party to defend Falun Gong, to cause the hate among the Chinese people against the Falun Gong practitioners. There is a very famous film the analysts have documented based on the footage of the CCTV, the state media of the CCP. On the next page, you will see that. I will take only two examples, Liu Chunlin and his daughter. And based on the next page, in the Washington Post, the investigation has confirmed that Liu Chunlin was actually, based on his investigation, not a Falun Gong practitioner and behaved not as a real Falun Gong practitioner, who is really living on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. Next one. Another figure in the incident is Wang Jindong. And on the next page, you may see the Sprite bottle was okay, even the fire. You see his clothes, it's unusual, right? And next page, you will see, and you can see the Falun Gong practitioners, they do the lotus position. And Wang Jindong is doing like that. It's something like a soldier or a policeman. And next page. Yeah, this is another example for that. The people have to ask themselves, is he really a Falun Gong practitioner? On the next page, you will see, there is identification of his voices, and that's confirmed that there are different kinds of Wang Jindong. They have been interviewed by the Chinese state-run media, CCTV. And next one. So the brainwashing, the whole society in China. And there's actually, there is some kinds of different for the persecution of Chinese people in the previous Chinese political movements that caused by the CCP. And the very few years of the persecution of Falun Gong, the state-run media were very active. And especially at the very beginning of the persecution of Falun Gong, 20 hours, seven days, there will be many slander materials broadcasted in the radio, in the newspapers, and on the television programs. And then suddenly, it was totally silenced. And because the CCP recognized that if the propaganda was too like that, we were publicly, and then they will be get more response of the Chinese, of the international society, hey, please stop the persecution of Falun Gong. And then on the other side, they try to brainwash all kinds of, you know, in the schools, the next page, different kinds of societies by organizing anti-Falun Gong petition campaign and nowadays, especially next page you will see based on the report of the Falun Dafa Information Center. And there's some kinds of WeChat and they use WeChat social media to force, actually force the Chinese people to join the propaganda campaign against the Falun Gong. And next page you will see, even in primary schools, I can still remember that I was in the middle school, the persecution was started, and then we were forced to sign our names on the banner that slander Falun Gong. It is still happening today, right? So next page you will see in the workplace and next page you will see even if you want to get a job or you want to get a chance to study in China, you have to confirm that you are not Falun Gong practitioner. This is one topical example. Tongji University in Shanghai is a famous one. And on next page you will see if you want to get the Chinese, you want to study there, you have to confirm by fulfilling this firm that you are not Falun Gong practitioner. Otherwise you will not get the admission. Next page. And the CCP is trying in the last two decades to extend the persecution of Falun Gong abroad because the Falun Gong practitioners abroad have organized different kinds of activities, you know, like visiting the members of the Congress and NGOs for human rights and the medias to raise awareness, to set up the pressure. So they try to, the CCP practitioners try to on one side to censorship the information, I mean the truth, the true situation of Falun Gong practitioners. And on the other side, they try to silence the Falun Gong practitioners abroad. And next page you will see the different kinds of, you know, the plans or intention to slander Falun Gong and try to, you know, try to let even the US government to have the misunderstanding of Falun Gong practitioners. On next page, and the Falun Dafa Information Center has, you know, did a very comprehensive report in the last, you know, months. And the diplomat has also addressed the different kinds of directives of the Chinese authorities. And they try to manipulate the US society or even they want to misuse, make full use of the democracy environment in the European countries or in the USA to, you know, to organize transnational repression, propaganda campaign, and even espionage activities. The next page, and this is the New York Times published yesterday. And it's an article about the New York Times. The Epoch Times has reported that the New York Times, at the very first beginning, they just like to have access to the Chinese market, to the Chinese readers. And they have really take the way that the CCP wishes and slander Falun Gong practitioners, not only in the last years, actually in the last two decades. This is only one example of that, how the CCP try to, you know, make full use of media in Western society to spread the propaganda. And next page. So you have known different kinds of titles. You know, the CCP slander, have slandering Uyghurs and terrorists and separatists and, you know, even Taiwan, certainly you know even much better than everyone over here, and Shangyi as well. You know, different kinds of labels. And this is just one way, especially at the very first beginning or for the Chinese people, the Chinese people, even I myself was, you know, from the kindergarten time to get some kinds of brainwashing materials to like let the kids, like the school students, the university students, that the party is really great, like the mother or even better than your mother, your family. And next page you will see. Yeah. So despite of the persecution of Falun Gong, Falun Gong practitioners in China and abroad, they came, they started a very peaceful, from the very beginning, to say no to this persecution of Falun Gong, to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong. And in the last months, or especially from the last year, there are different kinds of encouraging actions. For example, the Stop False Organ Harvesting Act of 2023. I think you are very similar with this topic. And next page you will see that as, you know, surely as we were beginning, mentioned the EU resolution and different kinds of EU resolution on false organ harvesting in China in the last two decades, especially the one of January 2024. It's the first time that the European Parliament has passed one resolution on the persecution of Falun Gong and the European Parliament has addressed the story, the persecution of my parents in the resolution. It has been also the first time in the EU history that the European Parliament has addressed the safety and fate of Chinese farming family. It's my family, it's about the persecution of my parents. So it was very, it is very encouraging. And next page you will see that the most encouraging news is about Falun Gong Protection Act. Both the European Parliament, I mean, the EU resolution of the European Parliament of this year and the Falun Gong Protection Act, they're calling for the sanctions against all perpetrators and entities who have been involved in the persecution of Falun Gong and the false organ harvesting. And next page you will see the USA and Europe has responded to the, you know, transnational repression, external activities, and two Chinese guys have pledged guilty because, yeah, they have, you know, because of a shame directed by the CCP, they try to, you know, bribe one IRS official to get rid of the tax exempt status of one non-profit organization that's related to Falun Gong practitioners in the USA. So the next page, and this is a recently case, and he was arrested, he has been arrested, and we will see what kinds of actions. But generally, and the next page, you will see the EU has responded as well. As just mentioned, the European Parliament has firstly passed the resolution in the last 25 years. It's a very historic, and I can still remember that I was there at the debate before, one year before the resolution was passed, and the two Chinese guys were there, and they were obviously from the Chinese consulate. And this Chinese, this is a German citizen, actually, Mr. Ji, a Chinese origin, and he was working for the German member of the European Parliament since 2019. And in this press statement, he was accused that he repeatedly forwarded or given the negations and decisions of the European Parliament to the Chinese secret handler. So he's now being detained in the German detention center. And the next page, I know that everyone of you is very active with different kinds of actions to stop. Maybe you can share the information with your family members, with your friends, how can they help end the ongoing persecution, because the persecution of Falun Gong is not only a persecution, a state crime against Falun Gong practitioners themselves, it's related to everyone, because truthfulness, compassion, tolerance are really universal human values, and everyone needs the values, not only for ourselves, but also for the generations in the future. So, and the first step is always like, so I'm really grateful that you take the time or your family members are interested what you are being engaged, what kinds of actions you have taken to stop the persecution of Falun Gong and the forced organ harvesting by the CCP. I do believe that your families, your friends are admired for efforts, I encourage that you take time to help Chinese people. The next page, if you will be asked what we can do, there is a new petition launched by the Dr. Forced Organ Harvesting, DAFO, I think you are very familiar with the organizations, they have started the worldwide petition to G7 and another seven, government, a petition to the government to call for sanctions or even concrete sanction measures against perpetrators against, especially against the forced organ harvesting by the CCP. And it's really my great honor to have this option to share with you some kinds of information. I hope that you have got a little bit more information about the evil characters of the CCP. And in the last year, I was traveling, across European countries, I was in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greek, Belgium, France. I know that it's not only about my parents. Millions of Falun Gong practitioners and the prisoner of conscience have a huge danger in forced organ harvesting by the CCP. And my father is serving illegally detained in the Shandong province prison. And obviously he has also a grave danger in forced organ harvesting by the CCP. And on the other side, I want to seize the opportunity to say thank you and express my heartfelt appreciation to the Internet Society for the incredible and remarkable efforts in freeing my parents from the state crime in the last year, actually in the last 15 months. And during my conversations with members of the European Parliament or with citizens that I meet at the Bernberg Gate, because we have their peaceful activities every Saturday, I always try to let them know that every signature is very powerful and every kinds of voice matters. And together we can make it. And we hope that every kinds of state crime that committed by the Chinese Communist Party will be ended very soon, especially all kinds of, you know, expressed forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and prisoner of conscience will be ended very, very soon.
