Brigid : The Slayer Goddess of Imbolc, Luminance, & Excellence

In this video we honor the Celtic Goddess Brigid, also known as Bride, Brigantia, & so many more names. She who is the goddess of light, flame, water, luminance, & excellence. As we approach the festival of Imbolc ( February 1 / 2 ) we step into her season (at least here in the northern hemisphere) so what better a time to give an introduction?

She is the goddess of Light & Illumination, Water, Fire, The Sun, The Moon, The Stars, Truth, Justice, The Forge, Battle, & Smithing , The Achievement of Perfect Balance in Polarity, Augury/Psychic Ability, Craft, Magic, Healing, Purification, The Home, Protection, Education, Creativity & Inspiration, Poetry & The Arts, Domesticated Animals & Livestock, Agriculture, Nurturing, Nourishment, Peacemaking, Law, Contracts, Grief, Grieving, Guardian of Cemeteries, & Those of Broken Families... Just to name a few things :)

Brigid was the first of my deities to come to me nigh on 20 years ago, if it wasn't for her, there would never have been a Scarlet Moon, Son of Selene, or Integrative Mysticism, for she is both a lovingly driving patron, divine mother, mentor, & the goddess of so many things.
