IT'S HARD TO SAY GOOD-BYE / Alaska 2023 / RV Travel Days / SpaceCraft / RV Life / Glamping

A tornado watch, lots of rain, Superman's "town" and a Casino were all in a day's drive. Wow! What a day it was too.

A completely custom RV semi-trailer that we designed and asked SpaceCraft to build took 7 months to bring it to fruition. It's not heading to Alaska but it is going to get a much needed rest at SpaceCraft while they repair a few items and possibly make some improvements.

We're headed to SpaceCraft but this trip feels different and we have mixed feelings about it. We will be "homeless" for 6 months but we'll be busy up north in Alaska.

Lot's of people on the side of the road to wait out the storm but we push on through it. The casino is nice with lots of room, level areas to park and right on the river.

A few things to do to prep Orion for "storage" as we check the cabinets (we don't want mice in our food), make sure the refrigerator is empty (nearly empty) and dump the water tanks too.

We still have to take Voyager back for a "playdate" for the summer, at our friends house where Voyager will be exercised and parked while we travel to Alaska.

Our journey is the destination. We want to share in our experiences in discovery of What's Next.

We use the TSD card for diesel fuel and save a bundle each time we fill up our Big Rig. We also use it to fill up our Onan generator.

Our extreme completely custom 5th wheel is built on a semi-trailer chassis with air suspension and air brakes. Completely loaded it weighs 42,000 lbs rolling down the highway. And we do roll down the highway nearly every week. You see, we believe that if your home has wheels they should be used.

30.1 KWH of Lithium batteries
2- 4K watt Magnum Inverters deliver power as if we are on shore power
2- 4K watt 240v Cotek Inverters deliver additional power for our LG Mini split HVAC and stove

Coachnet is our roadside assistance company we use but hopefully we don't use them too often. LOL
