Chinese Mythology | Cangjie Creates Characters

In ancient China, as civilization advanced, traditional methods of recording information, like knotting ropes and carving symbols, became inadequate. Cangjie, a curious and observant official under the Yellow Emperor, recognized the need for a more sophisticated system. Inspired by the forms and movements of nature, he embarked on a journey to create written symbols. Through dreams and divine signs, Cangjie developed a comprehensive writing system that revolutionized communication, preserving human wisdom for generations. His creation became a cornerstone of Chinese civilization, reflecting humanity's profound connection with nature and the pursuit of knowledge.
