STUPID CHINESE TATTOOS!! (Part 2)

hey everyone welcome to learn Chinese now I'm Jared Madson with me as always is Ben Hedges how's it going Ben pretty good and I'm excited about this topic tattoos in Chinese need I say more so isn't it just so stylish to get a Chinese cool it would be cool if I were to get a tattoo I would definitely get it in Chinese and you want to know what there might be there might be a really good one here that we find that might be yeah right so Ben you haven't seen any of these I have not no so we're going to we're going to check them out we'll do our best to translate cuz they're in Chinese it might be hard might be hard might be easy we don't know we're going to we're going to figure this out here so what is this this is a tattoo this is a tattoo is what it says in Chinese so I would think with the skull and the swords it would say something like I'm a pirate yeah or shiver me timbers shiver me timbers perhaps but no Chinese chosen was this is a tattoo you can't argue with it maybe the guy was just like I want some Chinese on there and the tattoo what should I write he's like oh just anything just whatever put it into translate this is a tattoo whatever a tattoo yeah no one's going to know anyway right well we know well we know we found out now everybody else knows as well so okay okay so he's dangerous dangerous I guess we so yeah du kind of adds like a dangerous one you know something like that I guess I'm not sure is is his back dangerous I mean what are we trying hair looks hair around the sides is that the danger not really quite sure the point I mean I guess he just went to the tattoo artist and he was like I want dangerous I want to be dangerous well do people get tattoos that say dangerous in English right like I don't know better watch out for me cuz I'm dangerous if you don't believe me let me take my shirt off and you can see my back it says it right there he should have put it on his front I mean he's not going to fight he should put it on his forehead right next time put it on your forehead that that would be something okay okay so this one's got some English as well so this has the translation apparently is that I yeah I and then well it sort of is the character is it's missing a little bit not ACC but we're going to say I'm going to go with that with that's love it's probably that's what they meant what's the next one young oh okay yeah sin so love yeah what's y raise like to raise up to lift up strength and faith faith love lifts but the English says love lifts strength but you want to know what we don't need to translate cuz to live which is nothing to do it's nothing remotely like what the Chinese says and the Chinese doesn't even make sense I would even know what that's supposed to mean love raises up power and love raises up power in faith maybe maybe that's from I don't know confuscious confuscious I confuscious definitely did not say that it almost looks like he might have but I'm pretty sure he didn't I mean he said the last character he said the last one of his right yeah they just you know this is this has got to be somebody just took some random characters and threw them in yeah and uh apparently also took some random English and put that in as well so too bad too bad for that at least these are temporary right tattoos oh yeah sure okay here's a good one okay what's the eight8 and then there's eight8 there right so okay so in English this means I don't eat meat but I bite I don't eat meat but but I chew it I chew it oh really I chew I would have translated as I bite I I'm thinking it as I right here die what's the oh wait a minute the top one is a character upside down the character is upside down some reason So Co means um like uh bitterness bitterness or suffering it could be aai is like like stupid or dumb or something an idiot an idiot yeah so the movie Dumb and Dumber was called something like AUA oh really right so so auwa and and ADI like both of those mean kind of somebody somebody idiot so last two characters just say idiot idiot but then why is he got cool upside down like so a suffering idiot but the suffering is upside down this is really a suffering idiot there is nothing wrong with this okay very weird yeah that's that one's odd oh my gosh except the door is kind of wrong isn't it um no I mean like might maybe that's cuz his skin kind of oh I think it could be interchangeable okay so w w means there is no evil you will not do no evil you will stop at no evil you will stop at no evil dark that's very dark I uh I don't know why you would want to put that on your arm or leg or whatever that is yeah stop it no evil it's a it's a phrase that this is an actual it's an actual phrase like a set phrase I think it's weird you know some people get tattoos and they don't think about like when they have kids what their kids are going to impression they're G to you know what I mean like some people will get like this is kind of a dark thing to have and then your kids's like Dad what does that mean is it like this guy must have been a rather yeah and he's like oh stop at no evil and the kids like that sounds uh yeah stop okay this is one character CH poor poor poor got no money the gu's poor but what's it on it's on sort of it looks like it's on some sort of like the tail of a dragon or something like that interesting I mean I wouldn't really want to put the word poor on myself to advertise you know having no money I don't have any money guant coffin dude or something coffin guy coffin dude I I don't know like uh what's it is he an Undertaker morti yeah an Undertaker what is what's what are we trying to say maybe he like likes the WWE and he like that wrestler The Undertaker and he's like the Undertaker The Undertaker the coffin I don't know how to WR coffin dude I guess coffin bro yeah yeah that's it's not even really not even really a I mean you can kind of understand what it means I guess whatever coffin guy means yeah it's a bit weird yeah definitely a mistake yeah and there's a dragon down and there's a dragon if doubt put a dragon yeah put a drag put some Chinese characters put a dragon yeah that's just hope nobody can read the Chinese just hope we don't find you yeah right yeah cuz we will expose you we'll expose you okay here you go oh this is another test of Chinese right there for you well okay so the the bottom character is upside down right so this is gingu meaning Golden Pig but the character of a pig is upside down what's up with turning characters upside down I I guess well I guess if you don't know Chinese you wouldn't notice if it was upside down but if they like print it out on a computer or something I how would it oh that's probably to print them both out on oh maybe it's a stencil or something you print something like that and you're like I don't I don't probably goes this way he printed them on two separate pieces the paper and then he accidentally got the second one upside down upside down got mixed around a little bit Yeah Yeah but even if he had it right Golden Pig Golden Pig maybe that means something to him you know is there yeah okay doesn't sound very good Byron Outsider Outsider stranger stranger stranger danger this guy right here hey maybe he's buddies with W right together they're stranger danger yeah I mean why I mean maybe it means something to him right like I feel like a foreigner or I feel like an outsider or something oh yeah maybe it's a western guy in in China he's like you know what I'm just going to put a stamp on my arm he should have got La every yeah then he should have got law no but because he's he doesn't know then he put kind of a weird a weird phrase on it stranger okay oh what is h I can't even really read this says you got to look past all the hair UHA okay so I cannot forget my father never forget never forget your father daddy we're making the Assumption you never forget Daddy's hair back want to I don't know is this like some version of right like a tattoo that says mom on your shoulder is that what he was going for probably yeah something like that you cannot be destroyed hared yeah cannot be ruined probably it's something either you cannot hurt me or or maybe I'm yeah indru indestructible it's a goofy little goofy way of saying it it's not really like check with check with a native speaker check with a don't know whatever okay so blurry this is a real test of Chinese you got to read this to me it's too blurry I can't read I'll tell you what I can't read it it's not Chinese it's nonsense it's not that might be sh maybe I thought it looked like maybe like Chong or or like Japanese backwards a little bit it looks like fake Chinese you know you know I understood at Legoland right they have this ride the Ninjago ride and they have these like element mental forces guys right these ninjas and they put fake Japanese characters fake fake you can't do that Chinese Ki and Japanese is Chinese characters they're fake characters and they could have just they're supposed to be like fire water whatever they could have just used the real one use what yeah I don't know we're getting to that point in the episode street village hand something power yeah maybe maybe that's going I mean it's it's really I don't know if anyone can figure this one out please let us know schw long I speak dragon love and he's got a massive crucifix and he he obviously bench presses yeah he speak he speaks Dragon love he speaks Dragon I have no idea what that means I speak dragon love I mean that sounds sort of poetic it's got a poetic ring to it it does right you know not not clear what it means but yeah he's a Christian and he and he's got another necklace up there I wonder if this is supposed to traditional characters that's nice you know Dragon quite different and simplified so looks yeah oh my goodness what is this this looks yeah we're get we're getting we're getting there it's uh just kind of that's looks like sha to kill and then sha Maybe Sesame or sh kill life shash oh maybe CH but not it doesn't have the the the thing up there that's maybe the last one CH no trying to kill something oh very strange you killed that tattoo I'll tell you that much oh wow oh last but not least how do you unpack this one is this an amateur tattoo this is and it looks like maybe there was already a tattoo and then he got another one I feel like this might be a joke cuz it doesn't it looks like if this it as if it's written with marker or something and then a what character after what is that like complete character right by demon d marijuana marijuana strength and friend these are all the things this guy cares about schizophrenic dude with multiple different personalities or something yeah okay it's h it's a little weird a little disturbing as well it looks a little very disturb like a sort of thing a serial killer would write I'm very scared right now yeah all right that's tattoos yeah I guess the lesson is you got any tattoos I do not no neither do I I do not for this reason I was thinking of getting Dragon speak love or whatever but I opted out of that okay yeah no you're not tempted by a w bour yeah no you know what the lesson is if you're going to get a tattoo check with somebody who speaks the language right and remember it's for life not just for Christmas it's for life people will laugh at you it will not be cool then you will not no all right well if you guys want to see more ridiculous tattoos I think there's a lot more out there yeah or actually serious things about Chinese culture too or if you want to see serious things that's what we usually do this is just for fun today uh check out check out next week next week's going to be a
