Eye of Mordor, my first 5.13 at the New - Sport climbing in the New River Gorge

It goes!!!

May have only been a little more then a half dozen sessions but spread out over 3 years, it seems like an eternity. I don't think I ever have I had a climb in my head like this proud line. Getting on it a couple weeks ago for the first time in 2 years, the crux felt just as impossible as I remember despite the rest of the route feeling cruiser. It took nothing more then a 2 inch foot adjustment to open up the crux.

Sends like this one make the 99% of chuffing projects so worth it. One more objective ticked off for this season.
