在7月1日全球華人退黨日來臨前夕，多個民主團體在美國各地舉行集會，抗議中共暴政。
在北加州，6月30日，大批抗議者聚集在中共駐舊金山總領館門口舉行抗議。他們舉著巨大的海報和標語，向民眾展示中共百年來對中國人民犯下的種種罪行。並高喊「中共下台」、「中國自由」、「自由香港」、「自由西藏」、「停止仇恨教育」等口號。
