Here is the story told by Shakyamuni Buddha more than two thousands years ago. In the lonely autumn dusk, in an endless wilderness, a traveler hobbled along his way. Suddenly, the traveler noticed that there were white pieces of something scattered along the dark road. Upon closer inspection, they turned out to be human bones. As the traveler was wondering and thinking, suddenly there was an astonishing roar in front of him, and a big tiger came running toward him. Seeing the tiger, the traveler immediately understood the reason for the bones, and he immediately fled back along the road in the direction from which he had come, trying to retrace his steps.
