Exploring the Majestic Buddha Todai-ji Temple in Nara | Travel Vlog 🇯🇵

Wow, look how big this Buddha is guys, it's gigantic Isn't this amazing guys? Check it out This is not as Japan Did you feed the deer? I did not know that there's so many more things to do over here, too Because obviously i'm exploring the city with you And uh, so it looks like over here. There's like some park with a lot of trees Then over here it continues it looks like we're going towards a gigantic temple, which I have been to before But I went to like around like five o'clock at night And there's more deer over here A lot of souvenir shops and whatnot and more of the park. It's amazing how big it is. I did not know that Then also if you want to buy biscuits, I think you can too From this area too. I don't know where you can find the biscuit lady but uh Also, there's rickshaws here too, so you want to take a little rickshaw ride you can do that as well And then something I want to show you real quick just as i'm walking That's one of my subscribers shout out to you bruce wayne That you told me that there is a hill that you could go on and I believe it's just right over there It looks kind of far. I don't know if we're gonna Do that in this video. I might I might not Have been walking quite a few Miles kilometers, whatever you want to say leave this guy here. I don't have no biscuit. Sorry. I'm gonna total for 850 Uh Look at that they're all going crazy over the biscuit. It's funny Oh so funny I think the deers over here since they've seen so many human beings over the time. I don't think they're authentic. You know what? This kind of reminds me guys. This kind of reminds me of when I was in thailand I went to the grand palace I don't know which one is bigger, but uh, this is pretty gigantic Okay guys the Let me just show you real quick. So we entered just right from there and now we are here I love these gigantic doors. It's like we're giants See how my sunglasses Because it is dark and just out of respect Wow, look how big this buddha is guys. It's gigantic Amazing. Okay. So here's the big buddha once more And let's just go around So Wow, it's really interesting and I noticed I think there's a lot of indians that come here Because they're buddhists and this is a buddhist monument, too. That's why they come here but just really cool just to see like how people celebrate their religion and Yeah You can see like the buddha isn't making a hand signal too The hands is not completely straight It's curved one hand is like that and then the other right hand you'd see it's like, uh down Let me show you real quick Hope you can see on camera You see a lot of people are praying too There's some wishes and stuff Yeah Well, man that that statue is gigantic And just look at the pillars too of this facility or this temple it's just like everything is just gigantic it's like sometimes when I see uh big buildings in the world, i'm just like how how is it even made like Especially like back then, you know, I mean like back in the days back in the days and which is also cool that I just have a lot of different types of like statues and whatnot just like This over here and we got the Stairs. Well, those look like really steep stairs. I would not want to climb those stairs steep stairs are like for the rooftop and just uh Look at that guy over here. That's It looks amazing, right? His name is komoku-tan Komoku-tan What is this? This is a reconstruction of the original temple of todai-ji on a scale of 1 to 50 That's how it used to look like So they have these like two pillar things over here and then in the middle is the temple And this is where we're at right now. They have special calligraph calligraphists, too And yeah guys, so this was the temple How are we doing on time?
