獨樂寺，又稱大佛寺，位於中國天津市薊州區，是中國僅存的三大遼代寺院之一，也是中國現存著名的古代建築之一。獨樂寺雖為千年名剎，而寺史則殊渺茫，其緣始無可考，寺廟歷史最早可追至貞觀十年（公元636年）。
獨樂寺佔地總面積1.6萬平方米，寺內現存最古老的兩座建築物山門和觀音閣，皆遼聖宗統和二年（公元984年）重建。 1930年獨樂寺因相繼被日本學者關野貞以及中國學者梁思成調查並公佈而聞名海內外。
獨樂寺為中國首批全國重點文物保護單位。

Dule Temple is one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units in China.
Dule Temple, also known as Big Buddha Temple, is located in Jizhou District, Tianjin, China. It is one of the only three remaining Liao Dynasty temples in China and one of the famous ancient buildings in China. Although Dule Temple is a thousand-year-old temple, its history is very vague. Its origin cannot be traced back to the 10th year of Zhenguan (636 AD).
Dule Temple covers a total area of ​​16,000 square meters. The two oldest existing buildings in the temple, the mountain gate and the Guanyin Pavilion, were rebuilt in the second year of Tonghe (984 AD) during the reign of Emperor Shengzong of Liao.
In 1930, Dule Temple became famous at home and abroad because it was investigated and announced by Japanese scholar Sekino Tadashi and Chinese scholar Liang Sicheng.
