Indiana Fever vs Chicago Sky (06/23/24) FULL HIGHLIGHTS | Women's Basketball | 2024 WNBA

Takes the win and continues to do that. It's the best. We know that Kaitlyn can score, she's done a really nice job. Leah Blossom has raised to the next level. She's averaging at factory. Angel Reese has helped to do that on the glass and on the offensive. Her relentless attitude when she gets inside the paint. For the first time since 2015 it is class 5 games for the Sky. First meeting here in 2015 and that's as far back as our records go. Melissa Smith attacking, taking. They feel like they need to bring a little more heat. They go at one another in this matchup. Austin from three, she can't hit. Clark just had enough room. Kelsey Mitchell, that's happened. Here is Mitchell, can't hit. Gardner, little crossover. Smith forces it up. Her putting over the last four or five games. Reese over her. Here's Mitchell trying to. As an offensive post player to do your work early. And she just, Angel Reese for being able to put her there. You take a look at the upcoming Sunday. A doubleheader on ESPN. A little push off and that is going to be an offensive as well. I don't know how many people expected. Their defense has been historic. Thinking about popping. Pull up from a long two. Austin and Cardozo. Here's Carter. Shovels it underneath. Inside, gets fouled. Lays it up. Clark does so exceptionally well. It's the pace with which she comes. Before the ball. Is inbounded. Anybody can shoot the free throw. As Clark hits the free throw. Electric this building was. Finds Mitchell. Her three. Won't good as such. Here is Allen. Leaving it short. Will pull up from a long two. And knock it down. In the lead. As Allen finds Carter. Down Reese. Bangs inside. And puts Smith. As her pro career continues. Henceful today. Angel Reese is a player who does. Clark a deep three. You bet. He's been on it. For Clark this long. Reese gets whacked by Smith. Their four game winning streak. Is the second one. Finding her shot. Distributing at a high level. But getting those four wins. Nineteen points. Eleven pieces. And as they have integrated. And Aaliyah has rolled with that. The four game. To Caitlin. But also understanding. She herself. Here's Mitchell. Stepping inside. Four on three situations. Out of the trap. She's. Still on the offensive glass. Keeps it alive. And she. Go back. So that she could bank it in. Clarking her former teammate. Cardozo. Boston. Over the limit. So Indiana will shoot. The rest of the way. Slowly uses the dribble. To assess. If a double is going. So going up against each other. One hundred percent. That's her. They're almost every day. I talked to Aaliyah about it. Before the game. Each other better. And people might forget. But it was. Not friendly today. But they will be winning. Here's Kennedy Carter. The pull up jumper. In. For any player to defend. One on one. Clark. Wallace goes cross court. And it's. Out here. Caitlin Clark. Gets a step on her. Trying to operate. Boston. Loses it on. The shield. Stomping it in. Is he Harrison. Trying to slow her down. Picking her up at mid court. Clark. Misses the first free throw. Cardozo. And Mabry. Both on the bench. With two fouls. Here's Mitchell. In the corner. She got it. Carter. Into the paint. Kennedy. Here. And now that she's stepped into the starting line. Two. It's the first. Free screen now. We'll go on the WNBA app. To vote. To Boston. The top three vote getters. One who's voted. Or whose kids have. Mitchell on it. Here's Carter. Trying from deep. And hitting. Mitchell. Trying to answer. Comes up short. As Katie Lou Samuelson. Whistles to the person. To the comp. To Courtney Williams. Because we saw her prowess. Inside the arc. She had the entire regular season. Connecticut eventually. Those two have been going at it. The dig comes from the shield. And Melissa Smith. Waves it in. On the double sin. Katie Lou Samuelson. When would the delay of. Equally confused. Also. Why would. Okay. So it was a delay in game. So there's just two free throws. Four. She is with Holly Ruff. Well Katie. Really well in transition. I think we got to make better decisions. Down here. Somebody's open. Then we can play. You know. With an advantage. Kennedy Carter. With 11. The lead delay for Chicago. Taking these moments. Down the stretch of the game. They're shooting 71 percent. But at 28 points. We've hit some big shots. But we've got to get the ball inside. Nice length. Strength. Athletic ability. Fakes. Ruff. Back to Katie Lou. She'll fire a three. And it's looked better and better. As this season has gone along. On the floor. By Evans. First foul on Evans. Indiana. Wheeler. Cuts between two. Misses. Here's Mabry. Gets fouled from behind by Wheeler. Put on defense. And in particular. You know. Trying to flare the ear. Two times. Harrison a three. Bark into the lane. Will lay it up. And off. In the layup. Leah Boston. Smith. Gets roots. And lays it. Men lay soon. Perhaps in their next game. Men with a seam. Floats it up. And in. See the connection of. Developing rhythm. And timing. With an on-court pen. Is underneath. Back to Boston. Back to work. Four assists now. For Clark. For Boston. Falling away. No. Is about to seal. So she gets to the right spot. Was about. Was. The way. Caitlin sees. Boston again. Leaning. Abelman. A lot of substitutions. For Chicago. And Kennedy. Five from the floor. Clark. Not that time. Out on the floor. Leah Boston. And get it to fall. Looking good. You see the connection. And chemistry. Starting to develop. That is the smartest. Basketball player. In all. Off to Reese. Reese. Cuts in. Melissa. Second to get the positioning. On Angel Reese. Avery. May have to. She does. Can't. In this game. Into the corner. Hull. The rookie. Draws to. Carter. Floats it up. Clark. Setting away. Boston. Avery. Great feed. Allen. Raising it. What a beautiful. Bounce pass. By Marina. Was back to Allen. Nice look. From Clark. Avery. A three. Short. Katie Lou Samuelson. Unable to hit. Chicago has run in transition. They were all going. Putting it on the deck. Pitching to Mitchell. Her three. I'll go three for ten. Reese to shovel. Cardoso to finish. Boston waits. Can't finish. Gosh. Katie Lou Samuelson is battling inside. Yes. From behind. Nearly stolen. Instead it's Mayberry. To the corner. Wallace. A three. Way to share it. And Kaitlin Clark. It started with her as two. Binds the cut. It's all in this second. Clark with six. Harder. Pull up jumper. Off. Coming up. On the WNBA halftime. Presented by. This weekend. Watching her. Friday night. Doing. Very, very true. Reese hits. Nice look. Wallace gets three. Waits. Mitchell will pull. Can't hit. So maybe not a good early pull. For Mitchell. Jumping it in. Cardoso the catch. Lead changes. And fun back and forth. In a fever of 46 to 45. Over the. Jazz with head coach of the Chicago Sky. Your former. Offensively what would you like to see be more disruptive. Bigger road. Side. Side bigger road. Got to be much better. I almost think we need to just do. A great start to her team. Out of the half. In here. Indiana looking for something. Finding. They establish inside. Early. Going into. Cardoso on the move. Waiting on Cardoso. Boston. Can't pop. Reese working hard on Smith. Angel Reese. Inside. Is Angel Reese. It feels the best. Because it is the best. Think of. Seattle. The offensive foul. Clearly. Trying to say it was a flop. But. On first look. Look like. It is six. Seven oh to start the third. The other side. Pretty much just to keep players occupied. Mitchell. Oh. You were still. Carter leans in. Want to guess that machine. I did. Guess that machine. I did. See I said. You didn't make the all-star team. It's not like now. Players. Team USA. Against team all-stars. Clark. Seven assists. Three rebounds. For Kaitlin Clark. Kings. For that last playoff spot. Is Mabry. Dipping in. Finds Boston. Carter trying to make something happen. Cannot. She came down hard. Following the foul. Is okay. Play. And. She caught him out nonetheless. It's six twenty six. Smith comes in to block the shot. Gets her third. In the arm. Shot. So the common foul. Is the correct one. And. Adding the number she's put up today. She's also. Now. Rub some kind of balm. On her back. I don't. Holly Roe really does it all. Kaitlin Clark. Back. Clark pedals through. Deflected out of bounds. Terrific. Bounces underneath. Smith waits. And. Carter spinning. Twisting. Can't finish it up. Mitchell in the corner. She got. Mabry dumps it down. Knocked away by. Brianna Stewart in New York. They want Eastern. They. Buddy in the building. Chance the wrapper as well. That's her career high. Yeah. It is. Those crossbar. Dangerously. Mabry dumps it. Nice job. Help here by Melissa Smith. And then help. Clark. She enters into the paint. You see Kaitlin Clark thinks there should have been a foul. Camila Cardoza waiting to see a replay. And she gets her on the arm. Shot. I might have twirled my finger too. Take a look. Send a letter. On ESPN Sunday. Off to Carter. Carter dumps it down. Cardoza. Smith. That is. Twirling fingers after that one. I would consider. Was it on Cardoza or no? Or was it on the guard reaching in? With 13 points in this game. Smith. I mean. Inside. And then. Reese is. Mabry's there. So is Cardoza. For the finish. Oh. Good two player action. And Boston. Clark comes with the help. Knocks it away. Comes up with. Wheeler. Gets tripped. Aliyah Boston wasn't rolling. Came from. From Chicago. Aliyah Boston with 13 points. And now another turnover for Chicago. And the third on DeShields. Clark lobbing it in. What a. Evans came. Collects. Mitchell. You bet. Ask if. Kelsey Mitchell. In space. And Mitchell. DeShields runner. She got. Four. But Indiana. Now. Some of that. Of course. Is. Mabry brings it down. Before Reese. What a. Catch. And finish. Her eyes. That's right. Reese completes a. Great issue. Wheeler will. Off the mark. Reese working hard. Gets fouled by. Angel Reese to. Second possession. In a row. Sir. Only is Angel not. Afraid. Boston. Boston puts it up. And off. Finish the third. After. And defense is something. I love to do. And I wanted to do that. Defenders around your feet. Had to catch it. Make it. And get to the. That was. Today's access. Brought to you. Herself. A day. She has been efficient. From. A rookie all time. She still has a quarter to go. And it is a three. Five assists. Herself. Barca. Bomb. Sheds. Katie Lou Samuelson. Evans. Now. Called on Reese. As she was tied up. With Boston. Holding the arm down. Yep. That's a foul every time. Katie Lou Samuelson. And a foul here. Is going to go against. Here's. DeShield. She'll. Enter this game. With just three threes. Made all year. Diamond. DeShield. Continues. To be one of. His. Plagues. After sitting out. Another year. The glimpses. Of Diamond. Who she can be. Clark. Bounces. Boston. Passes. Samuelson. Ravaging. She caught. Izzy Harrison. With her. Thinking it was intentional. But. So she's frustrated. With the. All good. And a whistle. Away from the ball. And. Boston's. Going to get. To shoot. Mabry has that kind of distance. And Aaliyah Boston. A little smaller. But she's got that long. Catch. Fire. And connect. Lindsay Allen. Can't finish. The Smith. Trying to give it back. To Reese. Smith. Getting ready to come back in for Chicago. Reese. Burrows. Half point here. One dribble. Goes in. And this is. Inside Boston. Calder gets it back. Fishing it out. Mitchell. Nearly. Lindsay Allen. Gets booked. And banks it. Far from Caitlin Clark today. 13. Balling this out. Yeah. They certainly are. Both have been. Or more. Allen. Misses the free form of media. As Wallace gets. The first round Wednesday. 8 Eastern on ABC. Carter. Jumping it down. Reese. Benjamin. Smith sees the clock. Puts it up. Hand to hand. Deflection. Kennedy. Carter. Lays it out. And Chicago. Happens. To shoot. Bounces to Mitchell. Rebound. Reese. Flicks it. On display. A career high for Reese. Telling Angel Reese to stop talking and be smarter. 17 to go in the third. And in is. Here's Clark. One with Cardoso. Boston pivots. Team foul. In this fourth. Meanwhile Indiana. Game. 17 points. 13 assists. They came in the first three quarters. She's with. Dancing through the lane. Scoops it in. Carter. Hops in. And floats it. Off the mark. Smith battling. Maybe. She's been cold. And misses. It's against Chicago. Two to shoot. Smith forces it up. And off. Here's Allen. To the lane. Can't finish. Corner. Wallace. Can't. To shoot. Slow developing here. Knocked away. Bounce. Pass it in. Chicago. She's been efficient. She's gotten it done. Perhaps her best performance. With six and a half minutes to go in the fourth. To work on Smith. Smith. Reese. Pumps it in. Sometimes. Middle shoulder. And able to bounce. For Reese. In Chicago. Deja Wilson. Back in 2018. Not seen before. In this. Pounded in against Reese. Smith misses. Park shot you want. If you're in Indiana. And Alyssa Smith is not. Yeah. And then the foul on Aliyah. To this fourth. With the Wayne. Cardoso. Misses. This season. Cardoso hits. Working Reese. Boston. Cuts between two. A really good look at the basket. Not. Indiana. Carter hits the second. Indiana has been held to just two points. Third quarter. Indiana who had won the first two meetings between. Dug in on the defensive end. Got some stops. And then. Clark and Reese have both been terrific. Speaking of Heath. It's been a lot of it for a matchup. Stuck on an island. Will take. And it's hit. 18 points. Six rebounds. Is one. It looks to help. Create opportunity here for Indiana. For Chicago. Reese. 25 and six. Mabry has it. And Wallace died. I go 22 of 28. And Mabry misses. Might depend on whether Mabry makes or misses. Mabry. Missed them both. Badly loose. Wallace into the lane. Can't score. There to push the pace. See if you can get numbers. Something early. An opportunity with Wallace. Unable to lay it in. Boston. The jumper. I think. Now perhaps they're looking. The play is under review for. This significant. Well. Because of the new. Point five will be. You missed the second free throw. No matter what. Right? Sorry. Misses the first. Dozo. Misses. They try. Catch and shoot. This will have to be a tip at the basket. The tip. Won't happen. That is. 88-86. Scuffles down the stretch. And another riveting game.
