人的命运真的是不能改变的吗 Is it really impossible to change a person's fate? 我们来听个故事 Let's listen to a story. 从前有个农夫 He used to be a farmer. 他每天辛勤劳作 He worked hard every day 就想多收获点粮食 and wanted to get more food. 等到家里阴时了能娶个老婆 When he got married, he could get a wife. 然而,无论他如何努力 However, no matter how hard he tried, 那米缸和粮囤总也装不满 he couldn't fill up the rice jar and the barn. 有一天,他坐在米缸边发愁 One day, he was sitting by the rice jar and worried. 正发着呆,突然发现里面有只老鼠 He was in a daze when he suddenly found a mouse inside. 他气恼地冲着老鼠叫嚷 He shouted at the mouse angrily, 你为何偷吃我的大米 Why did you steal my rice? 那么多富人家你不去 Why didn't you go to so many rich families? 偏要来我这可怜人的米缸 Why did you come to my poor rice jar? 这时,老鼠竟开口说话 At that time, the mouse said, 你命中注定只有八斗米 You are destined to have only eight bags of rice in your life. 不管怎么努力都不可能装满 No matter how hard you try, you can't fill it up. 农夫困惑地追问原因 The farmer was puzzled and asked the reason. 老鼠说,我也不知道,你去问佛祖吧 The mouse said, I don't know either, you go ask the Buddha. 第二天,农夫毅然踏上旅途 The next day, the farmer set out on a journey 准备去探寻为何自己命中注定只有八斗米 to find out why he was destined to have only eight bags of rice in his life. 这天,他路过一户员外家 On that day, he passed by a house of an old man. 员外询问农夫要去哪里 The old man asked the farmer where he was going. 农夫如实说了要去问佛祖的事 The farmer told him the truth and went to ask the Buddha. 员外高兴地给了农夫不少银子当作盘缠 The old man happily gave the farmer a lot of silver as a betrothal gift. 农夫继续前行,又路过一家寺院 The farmer continued on his journey and passed by a temple. 方丈见着农夫,询问他去往何处 The father-in-law saw the farmer and asked him where he was going. 农夫回答,我要去问佛祖为何我命中注定只有八斗米 The farmer replied, I am going to ask the Buddha why I am destined to have only eight bags of rice in my life. 方丈一听,也请农夫回答 The father-in-law replied, I am going to ask the Buddha why I am destined to have only eight bags of rice in my life. 请求他帮自己问问自己在此修炼了五百年,为何还没开悟 The farmer replied, I am going to ask the Buddha why I have not attained enlightenment yet. 农夫心想,这件事挺重要的,便答应会帮方丈问问 The farmer thought, this is an important matter, so he agreed to help the father-in-law. 接着农夫来到河边,正苦恼怎么过河时,河里出现一只大乌龟,乌龟问农夫要去哪里 Then the farmer came to the river, he was worried about how to cross the river. 自己在此修炼了一千年,为何还没成仙 The farmer thought, this is an important matter, so he agreed to help the father-in-law. 农夫觉得这件事也很重要,便答应见到佛祖后一定帮他问 The farmer thought, this is an important matter, so he agreed to help the father-in-law. 乌龟欣喜地驮着农夫过了河,一晃几个月过去了 The farmer was so happy that he carried the farmer across the river. 农夫一路跋山涉水,历经磨难,但他依然没放弃 A few months later, the farmer had gone through a lot of difficulties, but he did not give up. 这天,农夫累得在路上睡着了,在梦里他见到了佛祖 This day, the farmer was tired and fell asleep on the way. In his dream, he saw the Buddha. 佛祖说,念你一路艰辛,我可以回答你三个问题 The Buddha said, since you have gone through a lot of difficulties, I can answer three questions for you. 农夫首先想到回去还要过河,便先问乌龟的事 The farmer first thought of going back to cross the river, so he asked about the tortoise first. 他问佛祖,乌龟修炼一千年了,为何还没成仙? He asked the Buddha, the tortoise has been cultivating for a thousand years, why hasn't it become a god yet? 佛祖说,因为他舍不得他的拐杖,农夫也记下了,当到了最后一个问题时,农夫陷入纠结,是帮员外问还是自己问,最后他还是选择先帮员外问,于是问佛祖为何员外的女儿十八岁了还没开口说话,佛祖说她还没遇到心上人,农夫刚想再问自己的事,佛祖却消失了,农夫沮丧地往回走,来到河边。 乌龟问他,你见到佛祖了吗?是否帮我问了如何成仙?农夫如实说,佛祖说你舍不得你的乌龟壳,乌龟恍然大悟,我的壳下面藏着许多珍珠,现在我愿意舍去龟壳,就把珍珠送给你吧。说完,乌龟真的飞升了,农夫又来到寺院,告诉方丈,你不能开悟是因为舍不得你的拐杖。 方丈茅塞顿开,叹息地说,是啊,这根拐杖是师父传下来的,我一直视为珍宝,我现在也不需要了,便把拐杖送给你吧。最后,农夫来到员外家,员外的女儿一见到农夫,竟然开口说话,你终于来了,说完就直接扑进了农夫怀里。 这时,农夫终于明白了佛祖的良苦用心,要改变自己的命运,就得勇敢地去尝试帮助别人,要有一颗善良助人的心,才能成就自己,这就是所谓的本欲度众生。 反对众生度啊,古人云,行善无求福自来,人生就是一场向善的修行,积德行善必有后福,心存善念,天必有之。感谢您的收听,祝看到视频的朋友身体越来越好,家庭幸福美满,财源滚滚。
