"This desk was given by Marie Antoinette as a gift to the second Earl of Mansfield. Here is an astonishing rare piece of antique furniture. Made around 1770 and commissioned by Marie Antoinette along with another two identical desks.
The piece has resided at Scone Palace in Scotland ever since it was gifted in the late 18th century"
