US announced new visa restrictions on Chinese officials enforcing the national security law

The US State Department recently announced new measures against Chinese officials and the Hong Kong government for their involvement in enforcing the National Security Law in Hong Kong. It also called for the immediate release of democracy activists convicted for "politically motivated reasons."
