UD LAS PALMAS 1 - 1 DEPORTIVO ALAVÉS | HIGHLIGHTS LALIGA EA SPORTS

He took them up. Both these teams got promoted last season. Alaves through the playoffs and now solidly mid-table. He's still hugely popular. Alex Soler, Abdel Abkad, Ruben Duarte and Javi Lopez. And in for Alaves. And now the ball down the line for Simeone. He's got Garridi in the middle. And it's a header from Vicente. Tipped over brilliantly by Lemos. Carlos Vicente with a powerful header. The only. Over for Molero. Always a threat from that final third. Out as far as Soler who will drive it back in. Simeone goes down and that's going to be a penalty. Giuliano Simeone caught there as he tried to control the ball drop against Alvaro Valles from the penalty spot. It is Simeone who has it saved. A.S. the hero for Las Palmas so often this season. Towards the last ten minutes of the first half. It's Molero though fighting Sandro. He can get a shot away here. Sandro saved by Woonok. And then scrambled behind for a corner. All opened up for Simeone. Kicking long. Great flick on by Panicelli. And Simeone is away. Giuliano Simeone. What a challenge that is. It's still alive though. Oh and he's found Vicente who scores. What brilliant improvisation by Giuliano Simeone. It looked like the chance had gone but he didn't give up on it. And the tenacity led to the technicality as he found the pass somehow. And the ball into the box is a dangerous one. Not too far away from Rafa Marin. Still on the run. He's well challenged. But Hadji a little unnecessarily flamboyant there has given it away. And Benito. And it's a chance and it's a goal. And it is Marc Cardona running onto the cross from Benito Ramirez and tapping home the loose ball. Nice turn by Molero. Wonderful skill. The pass to Herrera. And now Cardona. Molero. Just fell to him. But he could only send it straight at the goalkeeper. But that was a chance that he made pretty much all by himself. He was tied up by the touchline. Bringing an end to the campaign for Las Palmas and Alavés. Bringing an end. The reign of García Pimienta at Las Palmas. Luis García Plata will be back with Alavés next season. Both men have been successful in this campaign. Alavés finishing the top half.
