This is the starting lineup for the Netherlands.
Some familiar faces, some not so.
Definitely look out for her to be a heavy part of the offense for the Dutch side.
This is the great thing, isn't it?
We look at the Swedish lineup with Isabella.
It's the Netherlands serving, Sweden receiving.
It's the first match from the FRB Women's Volleyball World Championship 2025 here in Thailand.
I think Sweden have to be super clean against this Netherlands team on paper.
This is Netherlands team match to win.
It's another interesting receive.
So free ball for the Netherlands.
Oh, miss it.
But now a swing taken by Anahak, which could be costly.
That's good defense, though.
Another opportunity here.
First swing for Isabella and the first glimpse of what we're going to see plenty more of,
most likely.
Well, and she's going to be a go to for this Swedish side.
She's going to get a lot of balls.
I mean, we've seen her get the likes of 40.
I think that covers everything.
Yeah.
We'll see if something else comes up.
Came straight down.
No need to challenge that one.
We haven't seen middle action just yet, but as soon as they get a good ball,
they have a really fast off.
You don't do that again.
That's easily read.
Nice work.
What a lovely set to go to the middle in that situation.
Jasper with the serve.
That's a nice touch.
Half a swing chance for Delderup.
Well, that came up brilliantly for Hayline Timmerman.
But she did exactly what she needed to do.
Great reactions.
Two point advantage.
Make that advantage.
That's more like that.
That's exactly what Isabella had.
Good D.
Might be a bit too tight for the swing, which it was.
Delderup couldn't do anything with it.
This could be a moment.
But really good touch at the net by Delderup.
Still trying to make something work.
Nicol van der Voort has had a couple of swings and not made it work.
And in the end, it's Sweden who do make it work.
And now they've got a set point.
In the first set, they've dropped it back to five.
And for the Netherlands, they've moved back around as well.
They started with Delderup at three.
They're trying to get that match up.
Delderup against Hack.
She's their biggest blocker.
That's a big hit.
Serving off of Britt Bonnets.
Also playing in a position where she can set.
Will come in to set here on the free ball.
Three front row attackers already waiting.
Plus the pipe.
But it goes to Delderup, who gets the job done again.
Really making it difficult for Sweden to adapt.
Van der Hack.
There's a heavy swing from Meher Tabron.
He's just come onto the court.
And she's backed it up with a really good block.
Well done.
That was tricky.
Space.
And it's taken.
That ball hits the floor.
Set win.
Pretty much a free swing for Marit Jasper.
That was excellent.
Well played.
Getting the middle working.
Timmerman.
Yeah, I feel like neither of these two teams really showed us
a whole lot of middle in this match at all.
Looking for this side out at the moment.
Sweden and they're struggling to find it.
Nisic can't make it work.
Good touch.
A bit of a scramble on both sides at the moment.
That's too tight to allow a full swing.
Maybe a swing chance here.
Again, they're too far in front.
Oh, I say that is a super play.
I think she might have been out of the court,
but just slightly in front of that line,
which you can see the dotted line.
A coach in that sense, but very much more relaxed coach.
Year on year in terms of what he's like from the sideline.
Your players every time.
That's not a good way to coach,
particularly because the players may be more worried about you
as the coach in the audience.
That he still has the passion for it.
As soon as you lose that as a player or as a coach,
and you should probably retire,
but he's still got it tenfold.
Sweden still got it.
That is a wonderful pickup from Alterson.
And it converts into a point.
Elsa Alterson.
The way your body reacts.
There you go.
Lovely pickup.
And it's all about the way that you deal with it
and convert it mentally.
Decent block.
Really good pickup.
Dalderup can't find a way through.
Might get another go.
Does find a way through, but defense is solid.
Oh, there's no double touch.
It was one hand.
You can't double touch the ball with one hand.
Really good defense.
What a rally this has turned into.
Both teams again in a neutral position here.
Jasper with the serve.
Tip coming.
Danbrink for the set.
Give it a little bit of extra spice.
And 25-21.
The Netherlands lead by two sets to one.
Away we go with set number four.
Must win set territory here for Sweden.
But it is a superstar for the Netherlands.
Netherlands will be having some confidence
coming into this fourth set.
They want to close it out.
So it might be going back to actual challenge in the moment.
Just a continuation block.
And De Rossi, she's got that one in.
She has.
That is a lovely angle.
Good on her feet to try and make that change.
Another change coming for Sweden.
So Julian Nilsson's gone out.
Elsa out of step.
He's coming through the middle.
Good pick.
And it's free ball.
Three front row attackers.
Geldof on the pipe.
Not going to get it.
Another chance for the Dutch.
Good up again.
Isabella Hacks stepping in on that angle twice
to make really good digs.
But it's another opportunity here.
And that time it was one time too many.
What's that?
Sock?
Sock.
Five.
Fifth set.
Oh.
He's complaining about the cold and the smell in here.
They've got a swing chance.
Isabella, not quite.
Free ball for the Netherlands to stay in the set.
That hasn't worked.
But that did.
What a block and what a time to get it.
Too heavily on Hack.
That was a good serve.
That'll do it.
We are going five.
Get the ball down to one.
Get it deep.
Get the setter away from being able to see the block.
Make it difficult for her to fling the ball out wide.
A bit like that.
So a break point chance here.
Dan Brink.
Excellent.
That's a really good swing.
First time she's gone that little bit higher
and gone a little bit deeper.
It's in on the baseline.
I doubt it's going to be a blowout.
It's only three points in it.
Make it two.
What a block.
Yeah.
Oh, she's clean as a whistle.
That's what Koslowski was asking for.
Let's make an adjustment.
So couldn't get a full swing.
Could be costly.
But no, that's a lovely touch in the middle.
An absolute monster.
That might just do it for the Dutch.
What a block.
And the Dutch have it.
That has not got off the block.
There'll be a challenge.
But I don't think that caught anybody.
Some momentum there.
That's not made it.
That's it.
It's all over.
The Netherlands have the win.
15-9 in the decider.
