(Laliga 2023/2024): Highlights CÁDIZ - BARCELONA

As I said, Roberto can't play on Tuesday. Ter Stegen, of course, is the first choice goalkeeper. It doesn't make sense to change it. He plays the ball in on his left foot. It's over. Hits as well. Kovacic just gets a touch. Fermin can't get the shot away. He does it the second time of asking, however. But just put on the left foot of Alonso. Not too high. Alex Fernandes gets it. The overhead kick! And that is a magnificent goal from Joao Felix! It's been a very tight game. But ultimately it's a moment of exquisite quality that breaks the deadlock. There's been a lot of talk about the rotations to the starting eleven. Joao Felix may have a lot of quality, but he is one of them. That's been played there as Joao Felix plays the ball and it's headed back across. At the back post! Just kept out on the line. Fermin probably should have made it 2-0 there for the visitors. He can't believe the ball hasn't gone over the white line. But that is some brilliant defending from Victor Chust. La Minamal was maybe getting ready to come on, but Barcelona have to defend here. As Alcaraz plays a lovely ball in to Victor Chust, who just hits. That definitely will cause some debates and potential controversy at the end of the game. But Ferran Torres plays the ball in first! And Joao Felix comes... A few shouts for a handball. It's still La Minamal in possession. Plays it back with Fermin. It's La Minamal across! Who tried, somehow, from an impossible angle. Good turn here now from Joao FELIX! And it's off the post! Really close to a second goal, but ultimately the offside flag is raised, I believe, for Fermin. So had Joao Felix have picked out the bottom corner, the goal would have counted. Played wide now to the right. Sobrino takes a bit of a heavy touch. Plays the backheel for Alcaraz. His shot straight off the defender. And the effort from the edge of the box is parried away by Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. It's Sam Aseku with the effort. Not a bad chance at all. For today's game, it was to get the three points. And this is the player, this is the man who scored the goal. A fantastic goal from Joao Felix. He showed us some good things. MVP, of course, and a good win for Barcelona. Again, a very tight game and a very good game for Cádiz too.
