Steak tortellini. This dish is absolutely incredible whether it's an easy weeknight
meal or you're catering to a ton of people poolside. You're gonna want to try this one out.
Let me show you how to do it. Let's get to cooking.
So the vegetables are so fun to work with because really you could use whatever you
want in your pantry here. I've already pre-oiled my griddle with some olive oil
but for the top of the veggies I want to add my favorite avocado oil. So the veggies I decided
to use today were left over my fridge. I've just got some zucchini. I've got some sweet onion and
some cherry tomatoes but the key to the veggies here and getting them nice and caramelized and
crispy is adding your butter. A little bit of salt and a little bit of pepper. We are going to
toss this right quick and then we're gonna put on the steak. Now today I am using a sirloin. I
got two sirloins chopped thin but also chopped into bite-sized pieces. Really key important to
this recipe because you do not want to bite down into your tortellini and have a huge piece of
steak. I'm gonna get this out here. Seasoning wise on your steak you can totally have fun with this
but today I'm gonna use a buttery steakhouse seasoning. I love a buttery steakhouse seasoning
on the steak because well it says it right in there. It's buttery and it's a steakhouse flavor
so why not? You could totally just use some salt and pepper though. These sirloin tips are gonna
cook real fast so once these are done I'm gonna scoot them off to the side here and finish cooking
those veggies. Our steak is done. Our veggies are almost done so I'm just gonna toss these just for
a second. Now it's time to get our noodles on. Now you can have fun with the noodles. You don't have
to use tortellini. You can totally use whatever pasta you want but tonight I am using some
pre-made store-bought tortellini. So this tortellini is par-cooked so it's almost done so
basically what we're doing is we're just gonna add some water to steam it up and then we're going to
add a dome on it. Let that cook for a couple of minutes and we will be back. Now here comes the
fun part. We're just gonna mix everything up. I'm gonna take this dome off. Those tortellinis are
looking nice and plump and I love this part of the recipe because this is where if you have kids
you can totally bring them in to help because it's almost like science how this ending part
happens. Now we're going to take our spinach right on the top then we're going to take our
goat cheese. Now I love already seasoned goat cheese. I'm using just a garlic herb goat cheese.
I'm gonna plop that yep right on top just like that and I'm going to fold in.
So basically what this is going to do is it's going to melt that cheese that goat cheese and
that's going to be your sauce. There's no other sauce in this recipe but the cheese. We're gonna
let this cook down for a couple of minutes and then after the cheese gets ooey gooey melted then
we're gonna plate. As you can see everything is melted down beautifully. Look at that goat cheese
just nice and cheesy throughout the tortellini and the steak pasta. We're going to plate this here.
Now the great thing about this is remember it could feed a ton of people or just you and hubby
on date night but I gotta tell you this is looking fabulous. We've got to try it. I've
got to get a little bite of everything. A little tortellini, some onion, some steak there, spinach.
Here we go.
I gotta tell you top five. I'm gonna say it. Top five of my favorite recipes I've ever made and
that is that's a big statement. There's tons of options and changes that you can do within this
pasta. You don't have to have tortellini. You can have rigatoni. You can have the ravioli. You can do
whatever you want to. Any kind of vegetable that you have left over in your pantry but you gotta
get those sirloin steak tips. That is key. So tasty. Absolutely easy. I promise you this is gonna be a
new family favorite. Remember you always gotta keep it quick. You gotta keep it simple and most
importantly don't forget you gotta keep it delicious. My name is Taylor Mock and I'm gonna
see you on the next episode and well I'm probably gonna be about 10 times bigger than now because
I'm gonna finish this plate. Cheers!
