Jackie's Custom Supercharged 1,200 hp LS Engine

"Jackie had thought through his build and selected the options that were right for him. We took custom a step further by engraving his name on the block.

Our standard 427 cubic inch LS engine with 3.0L Whipple supercharger comes with a Dart SHP Pro block. Jackie wanted the Dart aluminum LS Next block. It's a great upgrade as the 100 lb weight difference can have a big effect on vehicle handling. The aluminum blocks also transfer heat better. The problem lately however has been supply. It was a five month wait for his block. We have a lot of these blocks on backorder, but that's the world we are living in now.

Jackie also went with Drive-by-Wire, an Emtron engine management system and an FI Interchiller to ensure cold intake air under any conditions. With the Emtron, he'll be able to have torque and cruise control. The torque control on an engine like this is a big deal because its power will overwhelm any street tire at any speed if you nail the accelerator.

Talking about power, Jackie's engine did 1,200 hp and 1,124 lb-ft torque on the dyno. Max boost was 19 psi.
