What's up, Discati fam! Welcome back to another episode of Discati with Mendy.
And in this episode, I will be giving you several ideas for businesses that you can start with a small capital.
10,000 to 30,000.
So while I was researching this episode, I realized that I'm seeing a trend now.
And that trend is that there are so many trends now.
There are so many opportunities. There are so many ways that you can invest your money and build a business.
So what I did was I divided it into 3.
It's like there are 3 main categories and under that, I will be giving different businesses in the same nature.
And also, while I was doing research on this episode, I was thinking that I need to find businesses that I can make money out of even if I'm sleeping.
Post it on Lazada who, by the way, happens to be the sponsor of this episode.
Leave it there. Not think about it. Wait for the orders to come through. Fulfill the orders and go on with your life.
And at the end of this, I will be giving a business idea that is not in that category.
But I think it's really good. I researched this and I really feel that it's viable, possible, and you can earn money from this.
So make sure to watch till the end to see that.
Maybe you can also subscribe because...
Maybe. Maybe you can subscribe.
Okay, so business idea number 1 is reselling or repackaging.
There are 2 ideas for this business.
The first idea is kind of the business that I built on one of my most recent videos.
Watch it if you haven't yet.
Basically, what I did here is I got different items and I put them together in one box which raised its value.
Now, if you're thinking that you're just going to collect or repackage things, how are you going to earn from that?
Of course, the first way is to buy a lot of stocks.
Now, you're thinking that you're going to invest a lot and buy a lot of stocks. What if I can't sell it?
The good thing about this idea of gift boxes or collection boxes or repackage boxes is that you can pre-sell it.
Basically, what I did in the previous video, again, watch it if you haven't.
What I did was I got a box, I took a picture of it, I showed it to people what they can get from that box,
and then I waited for them to order.
But I gave them a deadline, of course.
So by the deadline, that's it. That's my order list.
I'll know how much I can negotiate with my supplier.
If I tell my supplier that I have 1,000 to buy, give me a discount.
That's 1,000, right?
So that's where you have leverage.
And then you have pricing leverage on the fact that it's a collection, it's a box collection.
You have the following season, you can have the following corporate requests,
you can have a specific lifestyle, specific country for unique snacks, for unique food, for subscriptions.
It's something people pay a lot for because, number one, they would not have the time to do that collecting themselves.
Number two is their perceived value in that box has a chance.
But I don't need to go out and buy this.
I don't have time to think about it. It's already ready-made.
And the idea number two under this category is basically the same, but it's not intense.
Repackaging big batch or big serving items into smaller, more affordable batches.
The best example here is repackaging almonds.
So what happens is when you buy from S&R, that box is too big and expensive.
Sometimes they're on sale.
But the idea here is, of course, sometimes people don't like too many almonds,
or they don't like too many chocolates.
Sometimes they just want a little, they don't want to buy a big serving.
So what you're going to do is you're going to divide the batch into smaller batches,
but you're still going to mark up the price.
Which is why I think this makes a lot of sense.
Not only in food, this is actually used in dog food, quinoa, flax seeds, herbs and spices,
even literally the seeds are being repackaged now.
It is just a matter of you trying to find the best supplier,
having a good or great relationship with them, and then leveraging off of pricing.
Category number two is unique or new types of food or supersized servings of food.
The first way is obviously, if you have a very innovative food that you can introduce to people.
And the perfect example is milk tea.
Milk tea didn't exist before, right?
Another perfect example is sushi bake.
Sushi bake didn't exist before.
I never knew about it at least.
And then slowly, a lot of people are making sushi bake.
There are a lot of opportunities now in food.
Because there are a lot of new types of food that I'm inventing in one place.
Or a lot of food that exists in other places and in other countries that doesn't exist here yet.
Actually, I saw some examples that I was like,
Wow, I want to do this.
Quesadilla, Detroit style pizza.
I think this already exists.
There's carbonated fruit soda water that's alcoholic.
There are sandos, which are Japanese sandwiches.
Take-at-home seafood boils.
There are a lot of ideas.
Of course, it's a bit risky.
But really, if you are passionate about food,
and if you think that you have the tenacity that is required for an entrepreneur to keep on pushing,
keep on marketing to sell their product,
why not?
And the second way to stand out,
which I personally want.
Actually, I did this too.
On one of my episodes, check this out.
I oversized or super-sized the serving.
If you can, find a way to be able to make it look as though it is super-sized.
There are a lot of ways.
Other companies or other businesses are doing this already.
But the super-sized ones are not that common yet.
I think I tried the burgers.
It didn't work.
You know why? Because it's not delicious.
It's that simple.
Maybe for this entire category,
which is the unique food,
and oversized food,
or super-sized food,
it's a bit slow grind,
but that's what you want in a business, right?
If it means you're doing this business for 5 years to 10 years,
that is what it takes for successful food businesses
to really, really make money out of what they're doing.
And if you can't accept that long,
well,
just be an influencer.
Category number 3 is my favorite,
and that is the customizing business.
Until now, I still believe that money is really here.
That nothing beats personalized items.
As a consumer, being able to purchase something that was specifically made for you
really ups the value in that item.
Customizing means you can create something,
combine 2 to 3 things together,
and double or triple their value.
Discarding, discarding.
Under this category, there are 2 types of businesses.
There's B2B,
and there's B2C,
meaning business to business,
or business to consumer.
You can go any route.
Of course, if it's B2B,
the work is more consistent,
more serious,
more professional.
B2B is customized shirts,
customized printing,
customized fabrication,
customized corporate giveaways.
Actually, I have a client whose business model is like this.
Marsha's Craft and Quality Makers.
Check them out if you want them to make a t-shirt,
or fabricate corporate giveaways,
or statues.
Actually, another B2B is print on demand.
You can be the supplier of people who want to make their own clothing line
that is not yet afforded to go to the factory to make their apparel.
I have another friend who also made this business.
They're rich.
And even small batches,
for people that want to begin building their own fashion line or apparel line.
I think that's a very, very good business that you can start.
For at least Php30,000,
you can do it.
If you can add more just for the machines,
why not?
But I think it's a great idea under the B2B subcategory.
In B2C, there's a lot.
This is arts and crafts, guys.
If you know how to build,
you don't need to be an artist.
If you can research what's trending on TikTok,
or trending.
Actually, this is what I saw on TikTok that's trending.
It's amazing.
Customized lamps.
Customized artwork.
Customized pillows and blankets,
which have existed for the longest time.
Customized bags.
This is amazing, guys.
There are a lot of good things.
And the best thing about this is
you can sell them online.
This is it.
This is what they're saying.
You can make money
even while you're sleeping.
Literally, you can sell these types of items
around the clock.
24 hours.
You can do that through Lazada.

And so now, we arrive at the business
that I've been talking about
and that is
the shoes business.
And no, this is not about you
reselling Nike shoes.
What I mean about the shoe business
is you actually being the designer of shoes.
You being your personal brand
being the actual shoe brand.
How is that?
Admit it, you haven't heard of
a shoe business
or a person that owns
an actual shoe brand
that they market as a fashion brand
or they market under their apparel line.
And the reason why I'm excited about this
is that I went through a business
with a Facebook page
where they said
that they offer to produce
10 pairs of your design.
And they will design this with you.
They will assist you through the process,
material, and actual design.
10 pairs for just 1,800 pesos.
Imagine for 10 pairs,
1,800 pesos per pair
which you can immediately sell for a profit.
250, 300, 350
depending on your marketing
depending on your collection.
And the magic there
is that you won't produce.
You will just make them.
You already helped local businesses.
You already helped to represent the Philippines
because Marikina Shoemakers
is the manufacturer of shoes.
I think it is a win-win for everyone.
With the right marketing,
you can start your own.
Celine.
I don't know
if you know
other shoe brands of women.
I don't know.
But you get what I mean.
So here's a rundown
of all the business ideas
that I gave today.
Post the video.
Get ideas.
And do it.
So guys, that is the list.
Hopefully, you liked it.
Hopefully, you got ideas.
